I am not agreeing with this whatsoever but something has to be done about this. There have been 30 gun related deaths in Toronto so far in 2005. I think that is actually really disgusting. Think about that.. that is almost one murder per week. So what is the government suppose to do about this. It is out of control in Toronto and these numbers just keep increasing. :(

I was driving home from a party on the weekend and I was stopped at a red light and on the corner of the street there were a bunch of guys.. they were yelling at each other and carrying on.. started getting really vocal, one guy even started to go after the other one. Was I scared yeah, damn right I was.. seriously, who's to say they wouldn't have pulled out a gun right there and shot the guy. That to me is very disturbing and isn't something that makes me feel safe in this city.

Regardless of the reasons these shootings took place, whether it be at hip hop venues or gang related or whatever.. something does need to be done and fast.

it has nothing to do with the music, the music is all cool in my eyes.
