oh & I can't stop laughing at your "location" I've been meaning to tell for about 3 days...about the same time I've been laughing at it. :stongue: I was even gonna quote you but it sounded off since I don't have a penis. :nervous:

I can give you the doctors, psychologits and what not and the name of the study, but attraction has a lot to do with smell.

They took 400 men, gave them white teeshirts and only let them wear them at night for sleep for 2 weeks. No beer, spicy foods, or sex during.

then they gave those shirts to women. and the vast majority of them would say "my other boyfriends smelled like this too" or "this is what my dad smells like, its comfortable, but not attractive."

they ALSO took DNA samples and looked at immune systems. They based the human experiment off rats which always chose a mate with an immune system THE MOST DIFFERING from theirs. That way they produced the most viable offspring. Close relatives have identical/similar immune system coding and are unattractive, albeit familiar.

They found the same thing in humans. People with the greatest amount of immune system difference were the most attracted to one another.

Unfortunately this is all done through smell. Which means that all those constant showers, deodorants, shampoos and perfumes hide the already hard to detect scent of people.

The other problem is that birth control pills make women think they are pregnant. At which time they REVERSE their natural predispositions towards people. There was a majority that said as soon as they got off the pill, they didnt like their significant other as much.

sounds rather crackpot-ish, Walker. :wtf:

well, it makes sense, and next time I stop by my house Ill grab the studies and I can tell you the chemicals within the DNA that produce the immune code, and furthermore the particular scent chain that lets people identify it all. Its particularly potent in places that grow hair, unsurprisingly.

but yeah, ill put all the doctors and the studies and what not in later after I grab it

I am HUGE on smell, I swear I’m like a friggin dog about it. Hahaha I went jogging on the beach last weekend with my baby and he was all glistening and sweaty when we were done and I just licked the sweat off his back and smelled him. MMMMMMMMMM he smelled incredible.

I always joke about testing my smelling capabilities too. Like you could totally blind fold me and line up about 40 or 50 guys wearing the same cologne, and have me smell each one, and I bet you I would be able to pick out my boyfriend.:D
FallingMoon
MMM I love a guy to smell good all the time...

I'm really big on hygiene & cleanliness (typical Virgo trait lol)
I love cologne on a guy too...a sweet but strong smell like
Dolce & Gabbana Blue for men...
I also like Truth from Calvin Klien.

BUT my absolute FAV on a man would have to be Issey Miyake FTW.
