If it's one place Armin van Buuren hadn't been yet, it's Space. Tonight would make it or break it for the young dutchman at this famous club.
I'd say MADE IT.
I was hesitant at first, but Armin's set was well put together, well-mixed and energetic. It was not like the lame set from Labour of Love where it took forever to pick up. His crowd interaction and attitude behind the decks made this night even more special, not to mention, the spectacular songs he played.

TA turnout was MASSIVE, inculding 2 LATAs neinerlove(?) and DJFaded, both pals of sweetcandy girl and Carriegsxr6. Sorry about the lack of intros, you guys. When I'm sober I tend to be kind of quiet. WaS really nice meeting and party with you two.
I spent this entire night sober...and noticed that just about every single TA was drunk as hell. I think everyone was trying to outdo me for change.......
...I kid.
A really great night. Armin had the crowd going insane, especially the girls. They were screaming in front of the DJ booth. Just plain nuts. Another highlight of the night: after Edgar V finished his set, he came down from the booth and mingled with us TAs in the crowd. Such a down-to-earth dude. His opening set was banging...but NOT to my taste. That's all I'll say about that.

Forget the t/l. I arrived around 1am and edgar v was on the decks. I really wanted to see armin already but edgar was doing a real nice job opening that I didnt mind. Once Armin took the decks I have to say one of the best nights I have ever had at space.

For this trip I completely forgot my camera. And I finally met MellyMel I told I'd meet her someday. Then he played one of her fav tracks " Advanced".Really pretty and nice in person I may add. Back to Armin he was energetic with the crowd and he did an excellent job I left during the middle of "adrenaline" Beacaue I have to work at 6:30 am. |

Well. Where to start. When I get in EdgarV was throwing it down nicely with a great buildup. At last he just started throwing fabulous tracks that had me enjoying it as if I was a little kid eating ice cream. Then Armin comes. Take note that I had no expectations, Im no fan of Armin and I never enjoyed any of he's livesets, but after the tracklist from the NY gig, I had many anticipations, and he delivered. And extremely nice trance set, from euphoric to melodic to banging trance. If you are a what you call a "trancehead" then this was definetly the place yesterday. The club had a great great vibe, didnt know Armin would bring people that crazy ( now we know he's got a base here ).. after that set in Space, he'll be back thats for sure.
IT was awesome hanging out with all of you ofcourse.. share the moments and tunes and crazyness with each one of you is great. Thank you ALL! And notable mention of the Cali TA's that flew down here just for Armin, hehe.. great to have met you guys! It definetly payed off.

| damm it i also left early, my feet were killing me! Armin was great, he's really on to something there and I hope they bring him back for sure. Good seeing the great turnout for avb, but there were way too many guys(or was it just me?) needed more girls there lol. Anyways, I saw the whole room just plain having fun and that was the icing on the cake. Waht a great night,great music, great vibe. drdave good jamming with ya dude. damn i love trance!!!
