it basically is a popularity contest.
whoever gets to be #1 will have his own concert, make bigger bucks, and get worst because he got famous. people will mostly love him, but true EDM fans will think that his fame destroyed his style.
i think tiesto is gonna win, because of all the publicity. tiesto in concert, and so on.
i dont know about pvd. was he on tour this year alot? did he have lots of gigs, he just released politics of dancing.
armin van buuren, i would want him to win. this guy will most probably win in the future, hes getting bigger thanks to his radio show. i consider him a good dj, he knows how to mix and throw a night.
ferry corsten doesnt stand a chance this year, hes on the soft side.
basically the one who wins is the one who does alot of publicity the previous and current voting year.

at least 8000 people were in Tiesto in Concert in LA, and 16,000 fans showed up at tiesto in lebanon. thats about 20,000 votes.
thats why i still have the doubt that tiesto will win.
armin is becoming more commercial, shivers is commercial but its not a bad song. its just different, u havent heard that style from him before. but afterall, hes a good dj, he knows how to mix better than lots of others and i consider him as one of the best now. |

Ofcourse there's some s that make these threads thatll finally get it right coz there's plenty of these stupid threads. But unless you work for djmag you WONT know the official list.
As said before even the dj's dont know ... Would be ignorant also. They want to keep it a secret for as long as they can.
On a sidenote... I think Tiesto will win it again.. just coz of his outrageous world tour. He's been everywhere and thatll defo help him this year.
If PvD wins itll be weird anyway... what has he done this year. Nothing that even remotely compares to the rest of the top10 (almost all that of them that is) |
