yes. it also sounds better :) and when u go to clubs there isnt like 300 guys and 3 girls.. its mostly all girls |
I'd definitely say that Armin and Tiesto bring out quite a few more girls than James Holden did Friday night.
Also, hip-hop brings out a lot of girls, but that doesn't mean I want to listen to it. I like house, so I'm not comparing, I'm just saying that it's a poor argument. |

Not house like Tenaglia or Morillo (which isn't really what everyone who is raving about house in this thread usually raves about). He's definitely in on the house sub-genres, though. |

| I don't know about anyone else, but i made my house switch through what i heard. I'm an audio nerd to the max, and I'd rather hear good music than have good sex. It seemed to me that in techno and house, the music is mastered far better than the likes of the super trance jocks like Tiësto, Paul Van Dyk, and Armin van Buuren. Other than that, it seems that producers and djs of other genres rely far less on their PR department, and rely morely on the skills they posess, their own music, and the PR of their fans. I still like trance, but it just seems that house (and other genres) has been pushed further trhough the years. |

| If I'm dancing with a chick, I prefer house over anything else, although I don't listen to house at my leisure. |

| If I'm freakin' it with a chick I also usually prefer house or hip-hop/rnb. |

| If I'm shagging a chick gabber is my only recourse so that I may bang long and hard. |

Sounds like a good excuse for not getting any tail at trance nights :p

I dont worry so much about the male/female ratio at trance parties, I always thought that trance music was not about meeting girls but the priority was somewhere else other than hooking up and getting drunk. I can go anywhere to hook up and get drunk, I go see trance music for a different purpose that I have trouble explaining. |
So true man! I can go out and look at ladies get thier groove on ANYWHERE. It's not hard to bring a chick home at any club, with any kind of music. It's all about the music! I couldn't give a rats ass if the ratio was 10-1 guys to girls... cause I'm in my element and that's what's most important. :toocool: |

house is slow repetitive & on the whole, there's a few decent songs but i'd rather get into a music because i liked it, not cos i thought i could use it to pull.
techno, psy, ambient, trance, old skool, d&b, rock > house |
well dnb & psy are as far as im concerned :) so's most trance now as well. |
