yep, in most cases, but the djmixes subforum has some good stuff, especially when adam x, frankie bones or mixmaster morris decides to share a mix |

| I'm absolutely addicted and would strongly suggest anyone that frequents the site to pay the low cost membership fee so that we can continue to have the service. |

| I don't consider it an addiction. Although, it's something I think I need. Actually, I think I should go to Discogs right now. brb |

umm...not quite. More like 'purveyors of taste,' and I find it a great deal more titillating to post on and read the forums there, rather than catch sight of the same threadbare bull posted hereabouts. Oh, and Sykonee, your submissions are so rare that they will give the mods nightmares? Give me a ing break, your profile comments and collection bespeak all manner of commercial edm. Save me the chortle... |

| Discogs is an excellent site. The only site I know that lists information on Moskwa TV, Axodry, Microchip League, Westside Records etc. and the early Frankfurt Techno groups. |

Ohhhh, Moskwa TV ... those were the days, 'Generator 7/8' is such an amazing tune!!! Westside Records will always have a spot in my memory with their interesting retro releases.
AlphaStarred, where's your Discogs profile? Just curious as to what kind of stuff you got.
As for me, its quite obvious what my username on it is. |

Going through my thread subscriptions ... I have become even a bigger Discogs obsessed maniac since 2005. I spend more time on Discogs than on TranceAddict by a long shot. Maybe its a good thing ;-)
Sorry for blatant Discogs advertising, its definitely the greatest music database out there! I've discovered, traded, purchased so many albums there ... I've met a bunch of complete music addicts, discovered new genres (like Berlin School, for example), etc. etc. and now I am getting close to finally organizing my entire CD collection, after 2 years of work ;-) |
