| Without hearing the mix I would have to say that escee is right about the small amount of tracks in tht TL. An average of 6mins a track seems to be too long. Safe set by the looks of it, i like most of those tracks. |

Not everyones a hardcore TranceAddict, I know I've been out of it of late...
I haven't heard half the songs on his TL, looks decent though... In fear of this sounding like a dicksuck, I'd be keen to have a listen just to catch up on what i've missed |

i think some people have to ask themselves why trance isnt as big as it should be down here - i think you will find that the answer is not enough dj's play like anonmyst.
yeah he's a mate - but i geniunely wanna hear that mix, the tracklist looks like barra fun and seriously hes already a friend - what would sucking his dick get me? (apart from a higher intake of daily protein) |

man youre going way off track about it jules. sigh that depresses me. all im saying is we cant all enjoy ing everything everyone does, everyone has their opinions and they should be free to express them on an open board.
besides, a little criticism is what drives someone to improve on their work. thats the main point here.
its just that people take criticism so offensively so we're at this 'lets just suck each others wangs' stage which is so fake.

Maybe other people get offended a little more and others should recognise that. Just a thought.. |

Because JPL likes your tracklist he is a rock star anomyst? I'm pretty sure this is what dave is getting at.
JPL, I can go in my room and play a fun set right now, but I don't because thats the easy thing to do. Anyone can do it, it isn't going to make you any better or different than half the other people out there. I'll be back in an hour and put up a mix with a bunch of 1999-2002 classics ok? I'm sure people would think that was a barra fun tracklist too.
Re: Anomyst's post above mine, be comfortable with what you do and don't get upset when people don't support everything you do. If you downloaded my mix and poo poo'd on it I'd be fine with that. I'd even be happy if you downloaded it, poo poo'd on it, and told me specifically what you didn't like. |

1. its not just DJs fault we all play the same tunes, its also the lack of decent productions.
2. you can only play what you like.
3. dont post something youve done if you cant handle the criticism.
4. *constructive* criticism is what makes everyone improve.
5. honest appreciation/admiration for someone's work doesnt mean youre an uber dick sucker.
6. pkc should be mod. |
