Another shooting in club district

Surprised no one's made mention of this yet-
Occured at Metro, during a party hosted by Sean Paul. Police had the road blocked off when we left Lot 332.
Does anyone know if this club even has a metal detector? I dunno why people are so against them here. They should be at every night club, esp. if there's hip hop.
"More gunplay occurred just after 2:30am Monday at the Metro nightclub on Richmond St. near John.
Paramedics arrived on the scene to find a man wounded outside the facility. The 21-year-old was rushed to St. Michael’s Hospital after suffering four gunshot wounds to the lower part of his body. He underwent surgery and his injuries weren't considered life threatening.
There’s no word yet on a motive for the shooting, which apparently occurred inside the club. A 22-year-old man was reportedly grazed by the gunfire. He was treated and released from hospital.
Detectives believe 800 people were in the popular spot at the time but few details about suspects’ descriptions have emerged. No arrests have been made so far."

I am not even surprised anymore. This is why I don't go downtown to clubs. If I go I make sure I am there real early and I leave really late.
hmmm.....so who is gonna start the "It's Hip Hop Music that causes these shootings" comments

unfortunately it was another bouncer..again. hes in critical condition.
these guys do not get paid enough with what they put up with, and the risks they take. i know what my own bouncers have to put up with and i'm scared for them all the time.
all y'all remember...they're just doing their job int hrowing yer drunk/high/stupid/angry/cursing ass outta the club
mind u, this doesn't seem to happen at clubs i choose to go to. thank god |

I agree.....the bouncers have a difficult job to do and they never know what type of stupid things intoxicated people will do. I never give a bouncer a hard time.....then again....I have never been thrown out of a club before. |

I'll agree that they don't get paid as much as they should, but lets face facts here, no one forces them to do what they do. They know the risks of being a bouncer nowadays... if as a bouncer you don't know that you can possibly get shot or worse killed, then you are a moron, simple as that. |
