GOOD TIMES!

There were too many highlights of the party to mention: "Where are the TAs?" msg in the Liberation Lounge projector, a PO'd girl trying to kick a guy in the face karate-style 'cause she didn't want to be stared at, breakdancing, meeting the vocalist of Second Sun, and most importantly, me n'Beatjunkie (who mistakes dropped beats... ;)) not stopping the dancing till they shut down the music at close - you rock!

The music was a 10/10: Jelo - Second time seeing him and he doesn't disapoint, some tranceish stuff with OS/2 & Walter Rosati, headed to the Liberation room where a DJ named DEMONIC make me rock out (also, Dr. Swamper was checking up on the party.), then saw the surprise of the night: Second Sun (hammering an excellent Live PA with live vocals!), where afterwards Preach came on and finished everybody off.

The crowd was pretty good, with lots of space as you can expect from Destiny events! Props to the few TAs that I did meet too. Nat, I can't wait to see your photos. Thx again beatjunkie for taking me out!

The night seemed to fly by so fast! Probably had something to do w/a midnight arrival, having started on my makeup and costume quite late in the evening... ;) . Arrived w/nasean3 and TheNeonAlien to an AWESOMELY DECORATED CLUB! Best Halloween setup in a club in all my years of clubbing. Mad props to whomever sorted that out. Costume contest was supposed to be at 12, but 'got postponed', and I never saw it happen. Maybe during the DnB in the main room? Woulda liked to see it. I probably coulda won the 'scariest' category, or come real close, if I'd entered. With all the bopping around from room to room, I really dont know who I saw spin, but it was always little bits of sets. Even when the good music took over the main room, it felt like the artists were done as soon as they started. D:fuse was bongo'ing away and rockin it out. Second Sun had an awesome live PA ("Crush"!!), only to see that the singer performed the whole time standing w/a bum right leg, in need of his crutches after they were done. Preach was on next- technically amazing, some wicked tunes dropped w/some surprizes too. Wicked to hear that "Fire" track that Liebing dropped at Swirl in May- that song is sick! But alas, feet were worn out by 5:15, and we called it a night.

Nice to see all the TA's and all the fun costumes. Loads of friendly people, good vibes & plenty of room. Job well done, Destiny!

I actually stayed right up til the end so that should tell you how SWEET:tongue2 this party was...Great vibe & sweetass tunes (the trance I mean) and LOTS of room to dance...I ran into some TAs but I really MUST thank Russell (aka Techhed) for letting me & my pal John in the DJ booth in the main room...that was awesome:) ...I hope Destiny has another party there REAL soon ;)

I'll post up a full review shortly. In short, damn good night, but my experiences should have been far better had my body agreed with me a little bit more.

Tatgirl, what was your costume? If it wasn't the typical white angel/black angel outfit then I'll probably remember you.

I was a zombie- loads of complex white makeup on my face, shredded gauze & black outfit, plus I was taking pics w/a big camera.
