More overrated Jan Johnston, Jes Brieden, or Justine Suissa

I think that Jan Johnston is highly overrated. Her voice just isnt good to me. People might consider her the "female" of trance but if the high on one of her songs is turned up too loud it is torture. Plus I think Skydive is the worst vocal song ever made. What do you think?
Imagine if they did a song together, it would be the triple j effect or something. Freaky names with J. |

| Justine Suissa sings in tunes. Jes Brieden supposedly sings like live. Jan Johnston, well, I just don't think she's overrated in any way. |

| Jan is good, but I lost all respect for Justine Suissa after that godawful job she did in the vocal version of 5th dimension. |

I totally agree! I hate all tracks Justine Suissa sings in!!
Jan Johnston may not have the best voice, but she's been given some good lyrics and melodic vocals...that sounds nice anyway.
Never noticed a hype around Jes Brieden, so i don't have anything against her yet. |

Jan Johnston ruined a couple of tracks in Tiesto's Dimension set from 2-2-02. She's a bit ahead of the track and it's really noticeable (especially in Flesh). |

Jan Johnston is my favorite.
Sometimes she sings songs where the music is overpowering and you can't hear the vocals. I don't like that.
What I do like is she doesn't sound the same everytime (correction: most of the time).
Depending on the song she adjusts her voice to the feel of the song.
My fav JJ song is close to you.
As far as Jes, when she sang at the TIC in L.A she was pretty ty with the first song but when she warmed up I loved it.
That's my 2 cents. |

meh, i disagree. I love jan johnston as a vocalist, but she sounds the same in every tune. same little chunks of familiar melodies or vocal style that she throws out in every song... kinda like how you can predict how nelly raps or how the dude from linkin park uses the same melodic chunk in a bunch of his tunes |

Brieden sucks live, i remember watching Top Of The Pops (uk show) and it had motorcycle as the rush comes on which was no 13 in the top 40, and it didnt sound anything like the original lol, but the crowd still went kinda nuts
I dunno i would go with Kirsty Hawkshaw because breiden sucks live and the other two, sound exactlly the same every time they do a song |
