You are totally right, they do know, and that is what makes it even worse. But that has not stopped thing like this from happening countless times in the past...
I wouldn't say it was malicious, but it was most definitely dishonest. |

And like others have said...if Heaven ed up on the booking, they need to let people know. But printing flyers before a gig is confirmed is BULL. Plain and simple.
I guess you're not in the know here Bob, because I could have told you that was a lie a few days after I got the flyer, when I went on Johan's website and saw the festival booking...which happens to be a festival he has played at numerous times in the past.

Exactly! Which is why I, like many others reading this I'm sure, don't give a about what happened months ago (or who is "right" in this business dispute).

Apparently, djskyhigh is an expert authority on all matters that occur in the whole worldwide global clubbing universe. (lol)
For her to continue to make false comments and call Heaven dishonest in regards to Johan is absurd; and continues to undermine her place in the scene and not endear her to other promoters, booking agents, or venue owners. (and she wonders why she isn't welcome...)
Her "fact" that heaven knowingly printed up and passed out flyers for an event that was not taking place is hilarious. it is equivalent to someone saying that Lost Episode knew their Phantom Manor party was cancelled beforehand and still let people buy tickets. i seriously doubt Victor planned to have his big event end as it did. the difference here, is we don't have a bunch of haters creating nonsense threads to accuse and make stuff up about the Lost Episode crew.
Elementradio and Heaven pulled the flyers as soon as we heard about the booking issue, and immediately booked and promoted the Solarstone event for over 2 straight weeks. the only issue arose recently, when Clovis decided to post a roll-call for an event that
had been cancelled. We all know why he did it, and it is a poor reflection on his character, but karma is a funny thing. His actions are dragging down the work of other hard working people like Victor who have to get involved in hijinks created by Clovis, et al.
As stated by earlier by someone who is far closer to the truth than kristina sky ever is regarding this nite, there was some booking confusion as Johan was switching agencies. His current management have apologized to us for the misunderstanding and we are moving forward with a fantastic nite with Johan on Dec. 9.
Sorry to all TA members for having to put up with this nonsense from individuals that have a personal issue with Heaven. my job as a promoter of the event is to try to bring fun and great music to
people, not sit here and try to talk about stuff all day long. life is too short for all this drama.
For all those that attend and have fun at Heaven, thank you again, we do this for you and appreciate your support. |
