Very TRUE!!!!!!!!!!! Been there, done that. That's one of the main reasons why most clubs will not put EDM on a Saturday night. They won't make money.

LOL thanks for the kind words but we get a decent deal already. This was the break down if you want to know.
$225 for flyer desgin, $300 for 10,000 flyers, $200 for posters and $200 for promotion so it was almost $1,000.
Still it brings me back to the point of NONE of us would want our names tarnished to pretend to bring someone out just to make more money at the door as longetivity is really the key. Plus it was not Leons fault and I really hate someone eating a sandwhich when they do not diserve it. What happend with Leon and Kristina that may be a difdernt story which I know nothing about but this whole Johan cancelling was CLEARLY not his fault! |

You may have missed my point, Tigo. I don't pretend to know more about these stories than anyone else, or that someone is right and someone else is wrong. I don't even claim that Heaven is a great club FCOL! All I'm saying is that I'm tired of reading about something that I (and many others, I suspect) really don't care about (which is why I had no choice but to blacklist Clovis). I have fun with an ever-growing number of friends every week at Club Heaven, and that is all that matters to me (and them, I presume). It is beyond annoying to have the same couple of people spoiling my/our mood all the time with the same old story. Why can't they just move on (or out of these threads)? |

So why have you posted a total of SEVEN times to add your 2 cents to something that obviously does not concern you? No one is forcing you to read anything...stop being a baby.
Sol, why did no one say anything when Johan was cancelled? And yes I enjoy busting Heaven's chops any chance I get...because yes, I dislike the people running it. And to think I used to be the biggest heaven supporter... |

We did pull all flyer off the street and stopped the promotions. Should we print another flyer to say the event was cancelled. Maybe you are right about possibly posting the fact that it was cancelled but I think we only knew the Monday before the show. Yes things could have been different and things should have been done different but everyone is human and no one is perfect including my self.
happens, Tiesto in Miami was cancelled 2 days before the show and with one email. That show was alot bigger and alot more people were comming to see it. Should we have posted in every forum that it was cancelled. Come on bud, we can only try so hard as that all we can do.
I know you guys dont get along but be mature like parents getting divorced and do it for the kids which is the scene.
I honestly think you and Leon should find a way to help the scene and not destroy it as it does keep getting smaller and smaller each day like it or not. It is up to the true EDM lovers to find new people and show them the light and by constantly bashing everyone certainly does not help. Yeah you are right and so is he, everyone has a point.
Like I said be a man, go to him and tell him face to face that you do not like him and these are the reasons why. It takes a bigger man to do that than to bash him on a message board. If i dont like something I would tell them face to face, if they get lippy then it and WHACK! It is over and done with, grown up style.
Honestly the both of you could HELP each other and help all of us way more by one person stepping up to make amends. Pride costs everyone including my self alot, such as money and time.
All I know is I love the music and NEVER want to see it end! |

Sorry bro but I'm not gonna punch anyone...I havnt had to hit anyone (barring self defense) yet in my life and I dont plan on doing so. Next time I see Leon at Lost Episode event I'll be sure to ask him what the deal is.
I'd love for an apology, but I have nothing to apologize for because I didnt do anything wrong. I'm only trying to expose the lies. I used to love club heaven...how many times do I have to ing say that?! You guys think I'm busting on heaven for fun? I miss the old Heaven ...but because of a few s running the place it is gone...
I have seen first hand how inexplicably ty thay will treat people if they dont get their way. Case in point, what happened to me.

Because he doesnt have and agenda like you clovis. He actually enjoys just going out to the club to be with his friends like I do. Do you think I like 50% of the DJs or clubs I go to???
I cant stand Avalon!!! I hate the people, the venue, the parking, everything about it. I cant stand it.
I didnt go see james holden because I like james holden I went to see him because my friends were going to be there.
A lot of us go out to be with friends in a social atmosphere. If the music is bad we go outside, if the people suck we move somewhere else, If the club sucks we decide not to go there again but we do it together as a group of friends
How many people here actually give a who owns or operates spundae or Giant or Avalon?
Leon and now Tedd are being persecuted here because of what happened between Heaven and Kristina.
Bottom line....IT IS NOT MY BUSINESS.
I can only judge someone on what they have done to me, and for practicaly all of us here, Leon has been a gracious host. He has brought a lot of DJs we never thought we would see, in a place that is nice and great to be in!

Clovis I FULLY understand, trust me fully and have been through like this 1000 times. Being 32 I just know that sometimes being the right one but admitting you are wrong can get you along way.
I really think you and Leon should sit down (not at a club) and work things through as I am sure you could help Heaven as much as Heaven coul d help you AND at the same time for you both to help all of us EDM lovers out there do good things and keep our vibe alive.
Clovis I have made many many mistakes in my past and all I can do is learn from them and move on.
Like I said you may be right and you may be wrong on somethings but for the sake of the music lets try and help each other.
Ill buy you and Leon dinner on ME just to work this out, are you in? |

I dont get it...are you trying to say that I go to clubs just to analyse their party-throwing performance? lol I get retarded every now and then like everyone else...I drink myself silly and I laugh with my friends. Sometimes I take photos.
You guys all love bashing avalon all the time..do I complain? Hell no. Avalon happens to be my favorite venue in LA...best sound and I just love the dancefloor. Yes the smoking patio is a like a crack alley.
