Hey Jay...number 24...I think it was Top Gear, was it not? I KNOW he played it...and it was soon after Airwave. B/c I remember I had to pee so badly and I was walking to the bathroom when Airwave came on, and I was like " that!" and ran back over to Nada. Then Senorita came on and I danced for a bit...but all the jumping around was not helping my situation, so I ran to the bathroom and came back RIGHT as Top Gear was coming in. I didn't take very long to pee...so I think that song 24 was Top Gear.
P.S. Official review will come later. I have an exam tomorrow at 8:30 and still haven't slept since Wednesday. Tomorrow or Tuesday I'm going to spend like 3 hrs catching up on the last 4 days of TA. |

The pre-meetup at Scotland Yard rocked, thanks to Max and Tyler for getting Piet there. Cheers to those that I met there, umm INTRANCE, Inmyplace** (I still can't tell you two apart, hahah ;) ) marcusus (best accent EVER), oh god I don't know who else, I'm sorry everybody :(
Anyway. We rolled into Guv just after 1am, Tall Paul soon got into his groove and started laying down some great tracks. Nothing memorable really, just quality stuff all around.
Then came Piet. Amazing all the way through. I was disappointed by Breathing, of course, but it was made up for by none other than the magingnificent Airwave (original mix). I was saying to my buddy Mike (PCECCLES on TA, a lurker), that we'd head out as soon as Airwave came on, and well I heard the signature bassline come in and I freaked the right out, many of you saw me. Front stage all night long and even more pronounced during this epic ballad was I, completely in my element and happier than a pig in .
Thanks to everybody that was there, you all contributed to make my night one of the best in a very long time. Thank you all so much. I love all of ya. |
lol, i sure saw u when the tune came on and could definitely tell it was really something for u=)) its ok if u cant tell us apart, were enough alike that it doesnt matter:crazy: mags and i r really happy that we went to the pub. All u guys r great!! |
