It would have been simple to take the easy route. After all, Josh Gabriel and Dave Dresden - better known as Gabriel & Dresden - boast one of the most impressive resumes in contemporary dance music, with over half a dozen #1 Billboard Dance chart hits to their credit, including remixes for Annie Lennox ("Pavement Cracks"), Jewel ("Intuition"), Sarah McLachlan ("Fallen"), and "Me Against The Music" by Britney Spears featuring Madonna. In addition, in 2003 they racked up an international pop hit with "When The Rush Comes" by Motorcycle (their collaborative project with vocalist Jes Brieden), and continued sending ecstatic surges through packed dance floors with underground faves like "Lament."

don't get on my chops.
if you've ever been to energy thursdays you'll have a hemmorage (or however you spell that).
it's not "bad" persay, or "good", it's just a genre I don't quite enjoy that's pretty popular throughout chicago's club scene... except of course where we frequent (aka vision, sound-bar, crobar).
however you should see these kids get down to Groove Coverage - Poison... it's like Christmas morning for them every time that song comes on. |

Don't mind me... I just like to poke fun at "Euro/Hardstyle" much in the same vein I make fun of D&B and HHC... and much in the same way I get made fun of for spinning the McProg!

Oh I'm sure we'll be there bro... For all the folks who hate on G&D, and particularly Dave Dresden on this particular forum, I still love those guys...

inphinity - how about you post a recent tracklist or something man, i'm really curious what your sets look like nowadays, i haven't been to energy in god... maybe 2 years now, but used to frequent it often to pick up some... well nevermind. |
