I love people like you. It's apparent that everyone in 'the scene' has to kiss every producers/DJs ass or else they are 'haters' and 'jealous.' Did it ever strike you that, perhaps, there are people whose tastes differ from yours and who genuinely find this music appalling?

I don't claim to "know" you personally, or know your personality in real life, but the way you present yourself professionally, I personally find reprehensible... Asking for people to pay for "your" music is deplorable and incredibly disrespectful of the artists whose music you are actually playing...

If I'm wrong and you have indeed licensed the music and the respective artists are receiving proper compensation, then I apologize, but putting up mixes for sale with no tracklisting or credits simply screams "guilty."

I won't even get into my opinion on "Euro," so as not to take away from legitimacy of the above argument...

@ BreakBeatGurl: Grow up. I'm not sure how it works in the fantasy land you seem to live in, but in the real world, criticism/praise are good things that promote and perpetuate the existence of quality products and services... If you want to live in a world where every bedroom DJ/Producer out there is a God, I don't have a problem with it, just understand that in the reality that the rest of us live in, criticism weeds out the bull and pricks...

you just said everything i wanted to say... but i was too busy lol-ing @ the thread to organize my thoughts in a coherent manner.

well kids, as usual i'd be in on the ripfest, but since i have not met or heard inphinity lately i will pass my judgements after i get the pleasure to do so.

as for mixes, GREAT NEWS!!! I got a lot of new tracks within the past month and will be putting out a new mix with a couple of production myself and my friends have been working on. I'm really excited because i've been moving in a new direction with my mixes. so for all those that missed the chance to get one this summer (and some of them didn't work which I extensively apologize for) I will put up an mp3 file to D/L very soon on this forum... hopefully that cheers everyone up and stops the fighting.
Aristronica
i couldn't resist and will comment on the thread.

i have great respect for people like UWM and DJ RJT.
appart from having met the people i also know that RJT is a very good DJ and has had good criticisms in the past that have coincided with my own opinions. This is just tranceaddict.com the midwest portion but these two are greatly respected... and lucid is greatly LOVED ha ha... anyway BBG - if you have anything to say, please first roll it through in your head and decide whether it sounds coherent and mature, then write it out.
inphinity - making mixes in your basement (or wherever) and then trying to sell them off WITHOUT any of your own personal production is just plain wrong, if you have the permission of the artists then forget i said anything.
and yes i want a free mix because i'd like to hear what you sound like nowadays.

Everyone has their right to their views and thoughts about music and no two people hear a song in the same light. To rip and tear a person down is wrong.

To sell mix CDs on your website with unlicensed music is also wrong.

Well sorry princess, but the only kinds of people who are always nice are kindly old tripped out hippies or those who live in fairy tales... Welcome to TA, the internet, and in general, reality, where not everyone gives two s about making sure their comments and criticisms are sensitive to everyone else's feelings... Quite frankly, I think my comments did a good job of expressing exactly how I felt and getting my point across... There's a big difference between well thought out criticism and mindless, unwarranted personal attacks, it's not as if I'm on here saying:

BreakBeatGurl & Inphinty are stupid heads and I hate them. They have no talent or brains, everything about them is bad, and nobody should like them.

My comments to both Inphinity and you stand, if you have a problem with them, be a big girl, stand up for yourself, and logically defend them, if not, then please stop posting your useless "let's all be friends" crap...
