| it depends where you are mate. if you are in asia, the trance scene is dominated by asians. if you are in america of course youll get more white people because blacks goes to the hiphop clubs and asians go to both. |

well i think trance is hugly popular with all races, except blacks. And its dominated by whites because it was made and made popular by whites in england/ibiza first then holland and so on. But then why is hiphop/rap dominated by blacks? same reason, was made and made popular by blacks, in harlem, queens, bronx etc in areas dominated by blacks. Just works out that way.
and non whites dominating all sports is like saying why do non blacks dominate all sports.. stupid comment, comparing one race to the rest of the world lol. Comparing A race overall might be a better way of doin it... blacks for example, they dominate maybe baseball, football(american) and basketball.... what about soccer, dominated by caucasians/latinos, cricket dominated by whites and browns, rugby dominated by whites, hockey lol thats a given, lacrosse mostly whites i think. list goes on and on. |

What a coincidence. Why, just yesterday I....ah, someone already covered that.
Well, to add more to the discussion, I'll tell you....but first: There is nothing racist by what I am about to say. It's just an acknowledgement of differences. It's only racist if one is presumed superior to the others. Which I'm not saying at all.
*ahem*
Holistically, when it comes to music:
blacks have always gravitated towards rhythm (tempo and percussion)
whites have always gravitated towards melody (notes and scales)
asians have always gravitated towards harmony (chords and tones)
This is not just the case with electronic music, this is the case with ALL music.
Beyond that, however, not much distinction can be made without getting into some sticky arguments, but so far, that's what's evident.
As always, there are exceptions. |

no no no no no, blacks in baseball has been on the decline since the mid 90s. But it was just meant as an example i know i'm ranting...:thepirate
And just to support some arguments above, I live in a pretty multicultural area, and of my friends I've never noticed what race they are having anything to do w/ what music they like, with the exception being rap music. My friends who like trance music are just as multiculturally balanced as my friends who hate it. |
