I think an attack on Cuba would be nice. We already have a base of operations, with most of the Atlantic fleet there, it would probably only take a day or so.

No, instead we find the government squanders $500 Billion dollars of taxpayers hard earned money and people give some chicken exuse about not voting them out in the next federal election... :rolleyes:

And oh yea, we don't solve problems, we keep them at 'status quo', solving nothing because as Canadians, heaven help us if we rock the boat to an actual conclusion to any world situation...

I think you have made a point that is becoming more "universal".
I don't think there is a government in existence that is not corrupt at some level. It seems that the nature of the "public servant" has turned to greed and power, with the "public" footing the bill. I don't know of any government that really has made the common man's life any easier.
I think the "average" person, in any country, really just wants to go about their day-to-day business and make the best life possible for themselves. If you look at polls, in the US, people are more concerned with taxes and government spending than waging war. |
