We need to lead a more proactive role in the world body. We must, as Canadians, oppose the one-sided anti Israel resolutions that do nothing but fuel anti-Israel sentiment in a world prone to lethal anti-Semitism.

yeah, coz the biggest and most important issue for the human race in the 21st century is anti semitism

your anti semites spend all their time building conspiracy theories about how the jews are the plague of the earth.

and jews like yourself seem to enjoy building conspiracy theories on how everyone is out to get them.

i say you move to the US, join one of their many far-right militias and destroy them from the inside. then you could really embrace your crazy side. good luck.

THat is why i am proud of this country. We care for our people first. Our government doesnt spend our hard earned cash and dump it into 500 billion dollar wars taht end up like a second vietnam.

However, by "keeping to yourselves" and not being "proactive", right or wrong, you have allowed the U.S. to really cause you some envionmental issues, such as the all the crap floating your way from the state of Michigan, causing acid rain, which, if I recall, is a very political hot point for Canadians. And Lake Erie pollution that ends up in Kingston (...but Kingston's no great loss for you.)

By not pressing these issues with the US, you now have some really big problems. The US is simply trying to be proactive (...as I said we may be right, may be wrong) NOT colonialist, we don't need more territory just controlling the interests.

...and I think we let you win.

...I hope that I'm clear with my thoughts, I had quite alot to drink tonight:crazy:

The White House was burned down in 1814, first of all. Second of all, no one really gave too much of a . the US forces burned apart York, present day...Toronto ;). Then, the British Forces thought that it would have the same effect to torch the White House and the Capitol building, which had little DESIRED effect.

Only a few months after did the US declare victory ratifying the Treaty of Grant :)

Tell that to the veterans who served our country with their own sweat, blood and tears.
