Which country you think will US attack next? (pg. 4)

It just baffles me that people haven't realized from looking at history that you can kill the people with your military, but you can't kill the ideas. Most times it plays out like it is now, and just serves to strengthen their ideology and give them justification in the eyes of many to continue their opposition.

That said, Iran's next. I don't think we'll go after North Korea even though they're the more dangerous one of the two. There's no way the US public will support a war that will have causualty rates as large as they'd be in that war. One of the main reasons is because we don't really have that much of a base of operations (just S. Korea and the ocean). Also, we don't want to have to deal with the poverty that we'd have to help eliminate once new leadership takes over.

not really.

Chinese forces are very under-equipped and do not really pose a threat to US dominance.

Of course the US does not stand a chance of invading, but why would they.

On the other hand a full blown war between these two countries and US military advantage is clear.

ok...

for starters there are so many chinese americans in the United States that a war w/ China would almost be like a civil war.

Purple, really kid. Grow up. You're only embarressing yourself w/ your posts and I'm surprised ppl are even responding to you.

In Los Angeles County, CA alone, there are around 100,000 homeless people on any given day.

they need to get off the streets then, and get homes. then they won't be homeless again.

Mexico.

Seriously, don't you think that even the warmongers in the US have realized how ineffective wars are by now?

Mexico, that's funny....
I would be surprised to see that, it's hard enought to barely keep control of iraq with 26 million people, let alone 100+ million. plus the other half are living in US already :eyes:

Venezuela is next. That president has made it clear he dont like the US and Mexico. He does not want free trade between countries. and I think there is oil there (not sure on that).

Actually at prices above $58 a barrel, extracting oil from the Alberta oil sands in Canada is now becoming more attractive. Thus, I believe the U.S. will attack Canada not only for its oil, but also other commodities such as softwood lumber.

I think its UK. He said you are with me or against me. And UK is slowly pulling out of mess it got into.:nervous:

Oil is so plenty in Venezuela that Hugo Chávez drinks it on a daily basis.

But the US of A should just focus on this war.

But silly, US think it owns the UN.

The US pays for over half the UN's budget, if I paid that i'd think I owned it

The Chinese Americans, that I know, would be the first people to pick up a weapon for a fight against China's communist government.

Plus...where would we get all of our cheap consumables, if we attacked China?
