straight from the horses mouth:
| quote: | | The ideology known as Islamic radicalism, militant Jihadism, or Islamo-fascism - different from the religion of Islam - exploits Islam to serve a violent political vision that calls for the murder of all those who do not share it. The followers of Islamic radicalism are bound together by their shared ideology, not by any centralized command structure. Although they fight on scattered battlefields, these terrorists share a similar ideology and vision for the world openly stated in videos, audiotapes, letters, declarations, and websites. |
| quote: | | As they once did in Afghanistan and are trying to do now in Iraq, they will seek to gain control of an entire country - a base from which to launch attacks and conduct their war against non-radical Muslim governments. |
| quote: | | The radicals exploit local conflicts to build a culture of victimization, exploit resentful and disillusioned young men and women, and use modern technology to multiply their destructive power. |
heres the interesting part:
| quote: | | They are sheltered and supported by authoritarian regimes - allies of convenience like Syria and Iran - that share the goal of hurting America and moderate Muslim governments, and that use terrorist propaganda to blame their own failures on the West, America, and Jews. They are strengthened by front operations - such as corrupted charities - and those who aggressively fund the spread of radical, intolerant versions of Islam. The militants are aided by elements of the Arab news media that incite hatred and anti-Semitism, feed conspiracy theories, and speak of a so-called American "war on Islam" - with seldom a word about American action to protect Muslims in Afghanistan, Bosnia, Somalia, Kosovo, Kuwait, and Iraq. |
mind you im not pasting this stuff because I agree with it but just because alot of people seem to want to understand the rationale behind what the USA is doing and this is the closest thing to an explanation I have found so far, so have a look at that page if you are curious. |

Doubtful. First off, if the USA has any reason to attack Iran it will be because of their nuclear weapons program. |
Was the ONLY reason US had to attack Iraq was because of WMD?
No it was oil.
And poor Iran got oil too. |

Ok dude...let's play.
Kuwait, in it's small size, has just as much/more oil than Iraq. We were there and liberated it, if we are such a bunch of heartless/imperialist bastards, why didn't we just say "Nice oil Haji, I think we'll take it." and Kuwait would be our 53rd state!
your ball...Mr. Know-it-all/Mr. I-hate-America
P.S....after filling up my SUV, taking Kuwait's oil doesn't sound like such a bad idea. Ya know, since the world thinks we are so terrible, I think perhaps we should start living up to the reputation.

There's no point in invading Kuwait or Saudi Arabia because they're already providing US with relatively cheap oil that would not be any cheaper if the US invaded. Iraq, on the other hand, would not be so forthcoming to sell cheap oil to the US and to give US companies a hold on their oil fields, and that's why it was invaded. Aside from that, it also decided to switch its monetary reserves from dollars into euros. |

lol i've played this game with this douchebag however he fails to use a curcial part of his body while posting...his brain, or lackthereof. Please look back a few pages when he claims that countries have conflicts and land disputes soley because of the US (though UN usually recognizes countries ;) )
I bet you if clinton waged this war people would be saying he's doing it for the women or something lol. |

The Invasion of Canada:
The Upside:
We would finally get some "real" beer.
A great way to get my money back from that evil Casino Niagara.
The Rocky Mountains would get more competition for skiing.
I could take a more direct route to Alaska
Canadian crab/salmon/bacon, at a reasonable price.:thepirate
Canadians could buy cigarettes at a reasonable price (sort of)
Canadians could buy beer at any 24 hour gas station. (NY law):toothless
No more lines at the Peace Bridge to Canada
...AND Canada has A TON of oil :haha: ***sound of homicidal laughter***
The Downside:
The "strip clubs" would have to follow American law, suck.:(
WE would have to deal with the whole acid rain "thing":nervous:
All those funny Indian names.:eyespop:
We would lose the good currency exchange rate.
Canadians would be livid about paying a full college tuition
...AND where would the next generation of "draft dodgers" go.
Please, do feel free to add.... |

I don't care about politics much, but i do hate arrogant people. With that comment, i'm not suprised Iran hates Israel and America loves you people. So you need America to do a job Israel can't do?
So why don't go do the usual thing you do everyday, and go give your father a headjob, it might release the tension you have on a dying war. Oh sorry, was that too hard.. sorry, you can go cry.
This whole thread is stupid just for the mere fact that war is the stupid way to deal with problems. Don't justify anything just yet, because nothing is right when it falls in the hands of arrogance.
I pity them. |

i never said anything about israel... but since you brought my baby up, lets run with it. Israel is not the only country whos treatened by the iranian regime. Many countries have publicly said that Iran is a direct threat to them and should not attempt to pursue its nuclear programme otherwise s obviously gonna hit the fan.
Now i remember Israel being the one in the 80's to go into Iraq and took out its nuclear reactor. If need be i trust Israel will be forced to do the same thing with Iran! Much of the world thanked israel for its brave mission into Iraq back then.
Now you see... Israel does not need any other country to fight its wars. We wouldn't want anyone else fighting our wars simply b/c no Army could compare itself to the expierence of the Israeli Military. Arrogance...no.... confidence in the worlds superpower to take hold of the situation when things get rough, definitely.
Now go run yourself over by a Kangaroo!:D |
