Scumfrog & Matthew Dekay *review*

Scumfrog sucked. He is not the Scumfrog I remember. WTF was that trance bullsh*t he was playing? He even played a PVD song. I thought it was cool how he was singing over the tracks though. It sounded so natural. If I didn't see him singing, I would have thought it was part of the song.
The moment Matthew Dekay came on, the music got 10x better! He was playing some good sh*t (the good trance). And, he is in hot. Short, but hot! :)
Larson, Jethro, and Tigo were playing some good stuff upstairs!! Tigo, what was that song I liked again? Domo arigato, or whatever?
Too bad I couldn't stay later. I left around 2:45am. I had to be at work at 8:30am this morning. I'm here now actually. :( I could have pulled an all-nighter, but I want to save my energy for Depeche Mode on tuesday!! :D

| I had a excellent time. My body is still numb from the amount of alcohol that I consumed last night. The back room was just amazing. It was great to see so many familiar faces. The vibe was just perfect. Thank you guys for helping me celebrate my b-day with me. :) Junior...it was great to see you rocking out man...damn that was fun.. |

shiiiiiit, YOU we're rocking out son. i havent heard you play that wicked techno beat for some time... thaaaat's the tracks im talking about! and that arcadia track was just awesome, crowd went wild!
torin... i did not dig the demo cd he handed me, it was a strange blend of mellow proggy acid house... but last night... shiiiit

I thought Scumfrog kicked ass. :D
Dekay was really good too but I didn't stay for very long 'cuz my stupid friend was tired and wanted to leave. :(

Ahhhh man....this was one fun filled evening i must say! glad to see all my friends...that makes the night even more special! i have to say that this gig was the most fun i have ever had at Spundae! thanks for everyone who stayed a little and listened to me play....i was having a blast! thanks for the kind words by everyone :)

I really wish i could have been there last night. I knew it was going to be a good time.
I unfortunatly was punishing myself by staying in last night and studying. I have a huge neuroscience test on monday and I haven't really been going to class or doing any of the homework so i really dont know anything.
I knew If i had gone out last nite and did neuroscience experiments on my own brain i would not be in any mood to study until late tonite :). |

My first time seeing Scumfrog and Dekay and I was pleasantly surprised by both. I liked how Scumfrog was singing over the songs too... especially Aftermath. :D
ahhh... almost forgot to add... tigs rocked it upstairs! I was loving the 80s tunes! |

| got home from after after hours around 1:30ish and went straight to bed, just woke up and still not functioning on all cylinders yet so more later! definitely a great night of music and hanging with friends, had a pretty f-ed up night with some of my partying but still managed to jump up on the podeum and dance for part of matthew's set which was banging! had a blast dancing to tigo's set and lrcn's set as well, cody and i were getting down early on to his set! more later........ |
