In a situation like this, if I need to lie for any reason, I try to be as vague as possible. You could just say you had your car parked and you came outside the next morning only to see that damage....then when they ask 'how the could that happen to a parked car?', you say...'i was home drunk off my ass asleep, how the should i know'
or you can go with the deer theory i guess. |
I agree 100% with this minus going with the deer theory.
You will get in WAY more trouble with a deer theory I believe. Way more. Fraud out the ass, side swiped they won't ever know, no one will. I've been hit walking down the road, they never found the guy and I had his plate numbers... |

| I honestly hope your roommate gets into a lot of because of what he did. He not only put his life and others at risk but he was just plain ing dumb. People like that don't deserve to drive. |

| i'll agree...honesty may be the best policy, but it aint gonna get u anywhere, maybe a warm fuzzy feeling inside knowing u did the right thing (at most)...need to come up with a good story for that one, or insurance |
