I find it funny how most of the comments in this thread come from people playing soccer. And yet there are people who insist that soccer is a "sissy" sport and can't contend with American Football.
Has anyone broken bones playing football (american)? |

- When I was eight, my friend and I were playing cops and robbers on our bikes. He gets off of his bike, and I drive straight towards him. He grabs onto my handle bars and I take a huge spill off of my bike. I was a hair away from breaking my right arm. That ing hurt.
- Strep throat, the flu, and an ear infection in both ears; all of this happened simultaneously the week before Thanksgiving '03. I woke up the second morning that I was sick, tried to say hello to my dad, but as soon as I tried talking I started heaving and had the most painful cough you could ever have. After ten minutes of that it finally stopped, and I'd lost my voice. Fun. :confused:
- Leg cramps in my right calf. If I don't drink enough water I'll wake up in the middle of the night with an incredibly searing pain, and all I can do is yell really loud. The following day I'll have to limp for about the first three hours after I wake up. That's why I go through water like crazy at any party. |

random fact... calcium deficiency can cause nightly leg cramps as well :D
a few years ago i was going to the gas station to get a cappucino, and i opened the gas station door on my toe... so i kinda stumbled and tried to play it off and proceeded into the gas station... as i'm getting my cappucino i look down and there is a puddle of blood in my sandal and on the floor... completely wrecked my toe... ing ouch |
