I thought I learnt my lesson once, but last night it happened again.
First, she pulls me aside and wants to have "the talk" with me about where we are and what's goin on. Everything is settled that we are cool with each other and that's why I can still bring her to a party. Now, this is a RECENT split, like within the week.
By the end of the night she's got, and I counted 4.. yes 4 guys coming to her and she's giving out her phone number, getting thiers and swapping emails and all that jazz.
I have no choice but to just stand there like I don't even know her so she can do her thing. I'm the jelous type, and still am not... but it's all about RESPECT! If you're gonna get numbers or give yours out, atleast go for a walk somewhere else, not RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME :mad:
I pretty much avoided all contact with the opposite sex last night just because I didn't want her to think that I'm saying one thing and doing another. I respected the fact that I was there with HER! This is what we talked about. She gave no sign that I was even with her all night when other guys hit on her, which I'm fine with, cause it happens, but everytime a girl talked to me for more than 5 minutes, she was right there reaching for my arm.
Chicks.. I tell ya!

Yeah....if this was a recent break up..bad idea. BUT you already figured that out. Sorry.
AND if you guys have decided to be 'friends' and be 'cool' with each other seeing other people, then you have no right to be mad at the other for trying to move on. Obviously there are some lingering feelings (because it's only been a week...) and you guys should work them out before trying to hang out with each other.
Personally, I'm friends with a couple of my exes..BUT only because we gave each other time to move on.

But I totally agree with Cale. I tried and didn't do as well, it's all a matter of how serious it was and it of course depends on the people.
That's still a fresh wound though.

yeah im usually right when it comes to these things.
thread starter. all u got to do is follow ur gut instinct on . its usually right.
i bet ur gut instinct was saying the ex let me go out with some other ppl and have a good time. but then ur compassionate side was like nahh i already have these plans with my ex id be an ass to break em. just follow that gut instinct bro its always right |
