Not complaining here, there's quite a few interesting threads in these forums, but... there's only 3 "trance" related threads on the first page (excluding rollcalls and reviews).
I know everyone are huge tranceheads, much like myself, but let's get some more trance discussion. I'll start.
Who surprised you the most last year, and who are you watching out for this year?
Are you expecting more quality trance tracks in '06 or another lull like '04?
Producer of the year last year? Would you give it to Andy Moor or Sander Van Doorn? discuss.
No matter how many I hear it, I still can't get enough of .

First off....do not ever mention tiesto as a God.....I have never read any religous book that mentions Tiesto....if he is a God then it's the God of Cheese.
This year will be the year of the Lawler....followed by the year of the Cox....i just wanted to say that :D
I don't expect much from the trance world this year when it comes to new productions....personally, trance is starting to loose some of its appeal to me. |

I think this year will be the year of Zabiela...he really built up a lot of momentum last year, from Utilities and Four.2 |

wasn't aware that he was into cheese but i've seen him DJ 6 times and he is crazy, most consistent DJ, he's lost some of his lustre over the years but that only makes him marginally better than most...gunna check his cheese business....thanks for the tip.

2006 will be a great year for Trance :) one of the best.
Marcel Woods & Menno De Jong surprised me in 2005 and ofcourse i will be looking out for them in 2006 as well as M.I.K.E. , Signum, Mathew Adams and the regular d00ds on top like PvD and Ferry.
In 2006 i think we will see more tech side of trance. alot of djs are choosing to go a bit more harder and bit more faster on their beats which in my opinion is a awesome thing. As for producer of the year between Andy and Sander.. i pick Andy. His collaborations and remixes in 2005 were top notch and his sets were quality also. Lets hope it all goes same way for him in 2006 :D |
