he freakin killed it...those of you who decided to skip this one definitely made a mistake. i've been goin to clubs for 3 or 4 years in dallas and i have never seen a crowd with that good of a vibe, or with that much energy. it far exceeded my expectations. the only bad thing was he quit at 2:30 without an encore, 30 minutes before the club was supposed to close. brandon has some pics and video he's going to post on here later today.
also, whats up matthias, it was good to meet you... i was the guy in the black collared shirt that talked to you inside, and again outside afterwards. from reading posts on here i can tell you are very knowledgable about music and you said you have seen PVD play several times. i was just curious what you thought of the set, and how it compared to others you've seen and heard. i think it would be pretty hard to play a set that was much better than that, but who knows...i certainly wan't expecting to see what i saw last night. |

Concur. These weekday shows are ing murdering me. This is the first of three huge gigs I wanted to make and couldn't thanks to timing. My envy will put out the goddamn sun.:( |

Yea I have school in the way though. I mean I'd rather pull an A on an exam and study the night before than going to a gig and bombing an exam. Kinda like my dumb ass last night. I decided I'd hit up the Library in college station with some of the roommates and dirty hoes of UT. Got trashed, then faced, threw up, blah blah blah. Well I'm the kinda person that, before an exam, will type up EVERYTHING that will be on that exam and just study from there on. I did the typing part. Studied for a bit. Chris calls me..."Los! Let's go to CS!"...."ok sure". Smart move. I think I bombed that bitch this morning.
But yea they need to move those gigs to WEEKENDS! Tell me when Beyonce, Garth Brooks, or Intocable (just a different list of genres) ever throw a show in the weekday...
I think it also affects the promotion of EDM. Weekday gigs....I mean c'mon man seriously.:nervous: |

lol! well from seeing Paul in November of last year, I can predict that his fans are his future rape victims. Paul Van Dyk has been in business a looooong ass time, and I think he knows good and well how to hit the g-spot.
And....taking a picture with him was one of the most amazing and impressive moments of my life. It's like I saw God bring down a cloud for me to get on, and up I went with him. |

| that was by far one of the most kick ass clubbing nights. PVD threw it down and standing O's for bonham too. We really need to bring big names for friday/saturday sets. he probably would of spun longer if he wasnt spinning in Cali tonight |

Hope all of you had a blast last night. I saw pvd @ Nation in DC the night before I left for TX, so I KNOW you did. When you recover I'd like to hear what tracks he laid down...and PICS!:toocool:

Whoever said weekday shows being lame I wholeheartedly agree. I guess no one thinks Dallas is important enough to warrant a weekend gig, but of course HOUSTON does. WTF is that, the armpit of TX I've heard. :whip: |
