I did mean what i said though and you guys have motivated me soo much to record something and get it out there, keep an eye open for it cuz il be posting a mix on TA as soon as my hands heal from yesterday (they kill as im typing this ;) ).
I really want to do this again soon, and hopefully we can get a few more TAs to show up and make it a real bagging party, mabe even get some ppl to bring some vinyls so we can have a good old fashioned Ableton vs Decks battle :eyespop:
Anyway, il see you all at Picotto, lets make plans for smoething around then.

Dang, wish I would've come with my friends to join you guys at Piett's place, but I was just too cracked to do anything but sit in my house and stare off into nothingness...
Overall wicked night though, and it's great to see everyone had such a good time!

Crowd & Vibe: Stereo > Aria
I have female friends that refuse to step foot in Aria because they get harassed by guys all night.
But, enough with the Aria Vs Stereo crap.
We had countless debates/arguments about this over at MTLnights (JFL wont even post there anymore), and we came to terms with the fact that they are both great to their own merits and just appeal to different markets.. not to be compared against each other, but just to be appreciated as different beautiful entities.

I actually used to prefer Aria as well.. back when I still thought Stereo was a "gay club"
Now I prefer Stereo for the more mature crowd, and cause all my friends go there.
Connected to a bar to let you start partying at 11PM and go until 5PM the next day: Stereo > Aria |

Ninja thanks for making the effort to talk to me at the start of the night, in the middle to end of Stereobar I guess I was less talkative cause I was playing it cool with the girl I'd just met. -winks- Also, thanks for the sip of water on the dance floor in the main room.
Oh and Lopi, don't know if you remember but @ Stereobar when you were sitting to my right and the petite girl in the white shirt came back, she went to the washroom, and motioned for you to move and sat right next to me... I don't think she meant for you to have to leave. She thought it was funny you just left and we had a laugh about it. :)

Personally I thought the last Porterhouse was musically much better and overall a better night. I had a blast and I'm glad I had some good come out of it as far as meeting new people from TA and outside of TA. I bumped into so many people all night and it was nice to be back @ Stereo after a month or so hiatus. |

Man my bachelor party was crazy, but im still kinda miffed at misiing this.Nice reviews guys.Hakim, by looking at your review it is so obvious that you are biased.Was this your first time @ Stereo?I go to Aria more just because they book styles that Stereo wont touch.That is the only way I think Aria takes it.Stereo is a much nicer all around and offers waaaaay more Xtras.It was also the ONLY North American cluhb to be nominated at last years House Music Awards for Best Club.I love Aria but saying that its better than Stereo is very n00b!
