fun times, lots of TAs. like BONDOR! hehe. and teh DA. all the others I always see in LA. :wtf:
remy was cool to start with, he got everyone kinda moving at towards the end of his set got us jumping. Interstate....they really didn't give them good sound, I swear it sounded like a cheesy cover band playing a high school dance. but oh well it sounded cool.
Armin was solid as ever, I didn't think it was spectacular, but it was good. And due to a a large quantity of alcohol consumed by someone I had to leave before rank 1. oh well.
great seeing you all, remember...March 11, EDDIE HALLIWELL!!!!.

oh man Armin was sick last night! I got there at 8 o'clock parked right out front and waited in line for an hour. while slipping on my crown royal + 7up. Finally got in at 9:15ish, i was chillin in the main room all night, at 11:30 Armin comes on and just kills it! Spundae seemed really packed, i gave up my front center position for hanging out in the back of the dj booth (less crowded). All in all had the time of my life! Meet a few TA's, had a good conversation with Bob M. (sick demo cd btw). ran into a few people that looked familar from the boards, but i felt awkward approaching someone and going "hey! i know you from the internet. I'm Nick"

Wow best night I have had in a while... Remy rocked it towards the end! Armin's set was solid as was Rank 1's. I couldn't stop dancing! Back room was kickin it with some crazy house beats too. Didn't care too much for Interstate's performance -- I guess it's just not my bag, baby. My 1st afterhours at Bob's was an awesome time as well. :)
Also was great meeting new TA's, especially from out of town! Starboy (Ehay -- that how you spell it?), Stargirl, DA, Boomer & his gf. Good times, good times! |

Right. Well, from the very beginning I had been looking forward to Rank 1 more than anyone. I really didn't Armin would do a good job, but he really did. I really liked his set more than his set @ Space in Miami. When Armin threw down Incognition, that song made the place go absolutely crazy. Such a sick ass track. Got great video of that. His closing track though....ugh.
On to Rank 1......
I had heard many of Piet's DJ sets and love them all, but this was my first time ever seeing him spin. Rank 1 doesn't come to Florida so finally, I went out to the other side of the country to see him. Opening with Breathing made me go INSANE. Got perfect video of that too (which I've been playing over and over) Everything he played just banged out. All flawless mixing, and I just so loved the set. Never let me down.
