a great night. unfortunately, my friend was too tired and we had to leave after piet played top gear.
remy played something i wasnt expecting from him, but he was the opener so i guess he couldnt do much more than what he did. the only song i knew that he played was pryda - aftermath
and then we were right infront of the interstate stage. interstate was aight, but i wasnt digging them much for some reason.
armin came on and i was too damn tired to start partying. i went outside for my little break and then had to take care of my friend a bit. he drank a bit and jumped too much so yeah. right when i got in i tried to get into the front and spent the rest of my time there. i took off my tshirt so armin could sign it in the middle of his set and he did!! YEY!! then i shook his hand during his set. and then i wanted him to play armin vs. m.i.k.e. - intruder so i was trying to yell so he can hear but didnt work. so i ended up taking my cell phone and wrote a text on it saying "intruder plz". he took the phone, looked at it and smiled and gave it back to me. i guess he couldnt play it since rank 1 was right after him and didnt want to mess up his flow.
rank 1 was tearing the out of the place, the first 10 minutes i couldnt stay in cause i was sooo tired.
an unforgettable night. it was great to meet a few TAs. michelle featuring kris and tony. |

Yeah ! Great pics DA. I was up on the right balcony and never gave up my spot - I was also taking care of two noobs - but I like them - I call them "rookies of the yeaar" since they've learned a lot in a short time. From my vantage point I could see everything. Poor Armin could not stop signing stuff. I think he even signed a $ 100 bill. There were wads of $1 bills signed, napkins, countless shirts - t-shirts, tank tops, long sleeves, dress shirts, etc. This man has infinite patience. Only one time did I notice him get miffed when the shirt was thrown in his face. I could see how technofriik was enjoying Rank 1's set. As DA said, Breathing was a great start and and he never let down.
Of course all the usual suspects were out, but what was amzing was all the out of towners and a lot of the hidden or ex-active TAs present. |

| I was there too that night. Very glad to have met neinerlove and sweetcandygirl. didn't want to say up front cause it was too crowded. armin's set was just phenominal(i think that's how it's spelt). but i had a great time, and i hope to everyone else did too. hope to meet more TA's next time i come clubbing in la. |

O man what a great nigt. It was pack ass hell but I did not let it bother me. I got early like a 9:00 found parking in street. Drank some gray goose and OJ in the car for half hour.
Then went inside, we got in quick. The music was cool from beggining to end. First time I was in front center the whole night, except wehn i had to get belvedere and cranbarrry. had to much of that, nasty han over the next day :whip: . When AVB came it went crzy. From the point on i did not leave the dance floor till the end. I was a great night, the only problem my gf got mad that I was more into the music and not her.hahaa. but yea great night. |

I had a Wonderful time on Saturday!
We arrived aroun 10:30 or 11 and did not wait in a line at all. That was nice.
I had myself a quesadilla con carne asada *yummy* and I was ready to dance to Armin's set...which was in' awesome.
I loved that I actually danced most of the time that night. I miss doing that, but my guy's gotta smoke...Anyway, I had a in' blast. I loved it. |

Had a blast! got there early of course, because i worry and think that it will be hard to get in, even though we had pre-sales :conf: One of my friends forgot his cc used to buy his ticket :whip: but its cool, he worked his magic.. we got right in and started drinking on the couch all the way in the back of the club.
Remy, Armin, and Rank 1 were all great in their own ways. Remy had a nice respectful opening set. Armin was perfect of course, although i was anticipating a more "euphoric" type set. Rank 1 was just as good as Armin and i enjoyed both of them equally.
Thanks to all of the LATA's who made us feel welcome in their teritory :) carrie, hotdogwater, neinerlove, sweetcandy girl, mike lord, bob, and all others who partied with us (can't remember the rest of the names) till next time :D |
