Nice pics! I must say there were alot of guido's, but being up front I wasn't exposed to them most of the night. Overall I definately had a great time, and even met some TA's (Drogean and well, I don't really remember his name :/). But for me it was definately a great time. I got one good pic of Corsten, well, at least I think its good.
Right after I got on my friend's shoulders to take some pics :) |

| im with brian on this one, Serge wasn't that good this time and Ferry was okkkkk, i wasn't really feeling him at all this time. I thought he was awesome last month. and the crowd was disgusting, its not just them being lee hottis , its that they are just immature and ridiculous. good thing i was with friends and got to chill in vip. |

| I saw a couple of you guys out there now that I see the pictures. I met one TA right when Ferry came on but did not get his name, he told me he 'saves his energy for the main show' What's up man? Ferry was good, but the crowd made it hard to enjoy. I think I'll stick to the 21 and over from now on:toocool: |

Classy. Reminds me why most of my friends wont step foot in sleazy clubs anymore. |

| Fighting is one of the most immature things one can do - though it is the most natural human instinct. |

from the moment i got here (midnight) to 3:13
by then erratic serge had gone nowhere as usual
reminding me of a student taking an intro class
to drumming yet with the attitude of a rolling
stone then ferry came around 2pm and for 1.5
hrs played the most simplistic set with zero
effort …
i was motionless for 3 hrs standing like a penguin
and then suddenly the musical mutation began
as ferry's buildups gracefully climaxed with
beautiful and energizing tracks over and over

Wow. Such a "-" review from you :p
Everyone has their tastes. Serge did well like always.
Ferry with zero effort :p I wonder why your there every month?
Cmon Daviiid, I wish I had a pic of you doing these martial art "forms" when the Trance was all up in your ass. Those forms like the ones I seen in movies (Bloodsport for eg.)
Hilarious. Jon O'Bir is coming. you better be ready ;) |

I can't really complain about anything. I had fun, my boy Koon was visiting NYC for the weekend, and I saw a bunch of TA's out. Also met a lot of new people, I don't wanna mention any names in case I forget somebody! The crowd didn't really bother me too much, except for when a row of people would walk right in front of me and another row of people walking behind me, and sandwiched me in the most obscene way...:nervous: really disgusting.
Nice to see the usual crowd, cool to see you again brian, haven't seen you around since new years'.
See you all for Picotto! |

stop being dishonest about serge he doesn’t
have musical attributes i sense the only reason
why you applause the guy is bec you think he
might connect you playing somewhere locally
not bec you genuinely think he has artistic
merits
you both should come to jon on fr for a super
intensive intro to flow basics he he he

So what exactly is deemed a guido? If a kid has a blowout and wears Armani Exchange?? Meh.. calm down.. its not like those of you who complain about them are much different. Sorry that the masses don't cater to your nationality and style. Personally I don't take offense to it, but I think its rather ignorant to judge people just because of the way they dress and do their hair. Granted they may look like some others, but that doesn't mean their mind set is the same just because they share simple tastes.
I think some of you focus too much on the crowd and not on the music for the setting. 5 years ago.. you would have never stepped foot in a club if that were the case. Again, learn to focus on why you attended in the first place rather than the other people "outside" of your own groups. Its kinda lame.
I could just as easily complain about how people don't dress to impress and they're just sitting in tshirts and how lame it is.. but whatever the case may be.. when I head out to see a certain person.. I'm there for the DJ and not the masses. If you want to fit in, go to your local shows run by those you know. |
