I LOVE LABOUR OF LOVE!!!!!!!!!
been going the last few years and its a frickin great party!!! can NOT go wrong....the costumes are OUT OF CONTROL, the DJ's are always amazing (plus local talent like MO, deko-ze M&S), people from every continent, great atmosphere.....
....I think that I might still be going to that party when I am like 50 and just chill out with the ol Asian people to fit in.........:haha: :haha: |

yes, labour of love is THE ..... held on labour day every single year. There are several parties during the year where they open the entire complex.... and the labour of love is one of them. others include NYE and their anniversary parties....
i've been goin to guv since i was 17.... almost every weekend for about a year and a half and then slowed down.... last time i saw ferry was in the kool haus (another huge room inside the complex, bigger than the main room) and he blew the goddamn roof off...
the lights in the guv main room are among the best i've seen.... when i first started going the lasers were only green, and i think about 2 years ago they put in full spectrum lasers.... definitely a visual delight!!!
all this talk of clubbing is getting me excited.... will let u TAs know when i make up my mind about this friday....

OMG now IM jealous...:D even going to a regular trance night was awesome. Guv is soo lucky to have Mark Oliver as resident there. |

lmao..... so true about the asian ppl..... even though i am asian myself. i recall someone saying it was like partying in chinatown.... but then again there are a lot of asians in toronto. its so funny cause so many of them are old and trippin their face off.....
all this talk of guv..... thought i was in the toronto forum for a sec..... anyone heading up for ultraspin this weekend? they have a pretty crazy line-up... and i haven't been there since they opened a room called the 'gallery'.... i've heard some great reviews about it.
