Ha, I've watched the Steelers pull that play all season. It's still a nice play to watch when it's executed correctly though. ;) |

| Now that the Superbowl is over, What were some of your favorite Superbowl Spots? V For Vendetta looks interesting, Natalie Portman with a shaved head. |

I believe they said that was the first time they've run that play this season. |

He's right. They've run a similar play with Bettis throwing the ball at least twice though. |

That was what Al/John said. flavdave wins. Shocker, though, that they would run their 'gadget' play w/Randle El throwing the pass. :p |

I thought the Super Bowl stunk...
First, want to make it clear that I wasn't necessarily going for any team. I want Pitt's coach to win one because I think he's great. But I really can't stand Jerome Bettis' ego (his whole "Win this game so I can play in the SB in my hometown" speech really pissed me off)...so I just wanted a good game.
In the end I felt that Seattle got completely ripped off by the refs.
I don't want to take anything away from Pittsburgh, certainly can't blame them from the refs stupidity, but wow...I've seen some lopsided officiating before but it was just TERRIBLE today. Not ONE bad call went against Pittsburgh that had any major effect on the game....not ONE.
I mean, WOW.
I think that even with their dropped passes, if the ref's simply called a fair, even game Seattle would have won.
Seems like I'm not the only one who has noticed. Big ole articles are starting to pop up all over the place pointing out just about everything I noticed.
Here's a good one:

What's funny is that John Clayton has an article on ESPN.com talking abou the Seattle mistakes the penalties...and does mention that some of the holding calls were touchy but that's just how the refs were calling the game as a whole. What a lopsided article because if he actually cared to not be on any one side, he would have seen the Pitt line holding left and right and it never being called.
All in all, I think the game was just sloppy. If either team played any of the past 10-15 SB winners, they would have probably lost. |

| fact of the matter is pitts is better at getting the calls, acting is a parr of getting penalties too |

| Have any sites yet made note of the fact that Mike Holmgren failed to shake Cowher's hand after the game? |
