OK, Check This Out!
Grekos is a long time friend of mine and i have to say that he knows his stuff when it comes to EDM music. He has strong opinions about certain genre's of EDM, but they are his OPINION! He had no personal attacks towards anyone! Grekos is just trying to make a statement on why alot of people didn't show. Your average house head most likley wouldn't know or care who Jon O'Bir is! No Beef Guys (and gal's). He's a good guy and I vouch on his knowledged on edm, especially Trance! |

Personal attack? Don't think so.....maybe verbal attack. Sorry you took it so harsh but I have a tendency to lash out when I'm falsely accused of something. I could give two s if the dude likes or hates house music......I was just fed up with his comment about knowing more about EDM than some people on here then backing it up with "I'm 25 and I was raised in Europe." What does he want......a cookie??? |

| well, it is trance addict, you guys have had or still do have some appreciation for trance, and if not, you cant miss any of the posts praising JOB or asking when JOB is coming back, or advertising a JOB set or something... the average house head in New York that knows who Morillo, Calderone, Tenaglia, JP, and Boris is, and no1 else, is not likely to know who JOB is... i think spending money on a Clubplanet email blast wasnt the best idea either because of the amount of people that are into those artists (and no1 else) or the other 75% of people on that site that go to the "see and be seen" spots and lounges... |

See, I think it still could have been useful if maybe the owner used it to promote the venue as a place for EDM events. Maybe weeks in advanced so that it could generate some buzz. People would probabley kept there ears open for events. I'm starting to convince myself that that venue hurt the gig alot, it not having a reputation for dance events. |

It's the same at L.A. TA as well.
I thought I could find refuge from that in the NYTA forum.... |
