Just woke up for food then back to bed, review later, but here are the tracks I remember:

last nite seemed like it was MISSION after ING MISSION from the time i got off work at 8 til waiting in line for about an hour and a half. i don't even wanna get into all the that happened BEFORE i got to avalon but the line was just ridiciously insane. never in my life have i been in such a huge line and wait to see a dj. anyways, so luckily i bumped into clovis and bas and lex400c and they were kind enough to let me cut in with them. we still had to wait for about an hour and when i finally get to the very front i'm like "i've been wanting to piss for like an hour now and if this line doesn't start moving soon i'm gonna piss my pants' so i walked up to the bouncer and said 'listen man, i really gotta piss. can you let me in just to piss and you can even hold my wallet out here so you know i'm not just trying to sneak in' he said NO of course. so i was like it, i'm just gonna go in the parking lot next door and piss on someones rear tire. so i run next door and as i'm taking the greatest piss of my life i start looking through my wallet and realize 'holyyyyy . i don't have my credit card!' :whip: so i'm pretty much screwed now cus you need it to get in for will call. anyways, i thought it was in my car so i start running in the ing rain and FALL HARD ON MY ASS right in front of this chick that was crying on a bus stop. she kept saying "i just wanna go home, i just wanna go home" and these 2 black d00dz that were with her just looked at me and said 'wtf are you looking at man?' so i got up and walked ING SOAKED to my car. i start digging through my glove box and of course, no ing credit card. so i decided to go to an atm, pull out 100 bucks and see if the bouncer will just let me in. so i'm walking to the atm and it just starts to ING POUR like a tsunami was coming and at this point it was already past 1AM and i said "this is b.s." i didn't even care @ that point anymore. i was complety covered in water, dirt, my new shoes were ruined, my hair was drenched and in my face, i didn't have a jacket, i had to work the next day, my buzz was 100% gone, my ing phone was dead of course like it always is just when i need it the most....LAME. i swear avalon has something against me. last time i was gonna go there for danny howells it was like everything was against me just like last nite. so in conclusion......i went home and played records til i passed out with my dog. i dont know if my 40 bucks will get refunded from avalon and i dont even care anymore. over it. the tiest part was that i was with a buncha friends and finally got to meet some TA's. but i'm glad you all had fun. |

I will agree with most that IMO Zabs was better than Sasha...but on a whole, the duo was amazing.
Sasha dropped 1 or 2 tracks where I was just like "ehhhh?" I'm glad hes experimenting...but I like that solid Sasha flow that I'm used to.
Over-all...I had really high expectations, and they were met. I really think to get the true Sasha experience you need to see him alone, for 4+ hours.
Oh and I think it was Sasha who mixed into Warning Siren using only the snare-roll before the bassline drops. That was pretty insane...didnt' think it could be done and sound that good, but it destroyed avalon. |

ivan wth happened dude? totally sux dude, looking all over for you...well zabiela was straight up wicked...never heard him live b4, his tricks are all his own...wanted to leave early but glad i stayed the whole night...the last track was classic Orbital!! lush 3.1!
i think sasha also dropped underworld - king of snake somewhere but it was so tweaked it was hard to tell what tracks he was playing...oh ivan too u missed it zabiela spun mylo. |

ya last nite totally sucked for me. i think my karma is ed up somehow. anyways, i'm glad you guys still had fun d00d. i can't believe i missed it. i srsly cant ing believe it. especially when i could have been there early and blablablabla whatever. haha remember when i was in the cab. i was like "I WANNA GET THERE ING EARLY!" oh well. i didn't have my credit card anyway. i'm a loser:(

| Good reviews. Ivan bummer man! I have a bit of a crazy story myself. My parents took my new car up north to visit family in fremont and tracey, so I said ok im gonna rent a car because I didnt wanna take their car to the club and besides they took the keys. So my sister calls me 8 in the morning Friday and says "dont rent a car, were goin up north too and we'll leave you my car". I said ok sweeet I dont have to run to the rental place on saturday morning. She calls back at 11:30 and said "we rented a car from over here and wont be stopping by there to drop the car off to you". So Im sayin fuk thx fuk. Ok then back to the rental I had reserved...Enterprise picks me up at 11 and things are fine and dandy, while in the car with the girl I remembered my cousin who I went out with last week still has my driver's license. So i come back home at 11:30 and call him and say yo I need my license have your sister drop it off...he was leavin to go to dentist appt with his sister rite then so that couldnt happen in time. So im assed out of goin to Sasha and Zabs which I had plans to go to for weeks now. So I say maybe I can carpool with one of the TA's if I offer to pay for gas or parking. Made a post here...didnt get a response, I pm'd approxmalia (she tried her best to get me into one of her friends carpool) And then gypseegirl came through big by letting me carpool with her. So thanks a lot gypseegirl. Waited 2 hrs to get in but it was a good nite...Zabiela and Sasha were sickkk. The last hour of Zabiela's set was insane. Met some other TA's Tigo and some others I dont remember their names but nice to meet you folks. By 6:30 I tired so i fell asleep on the right side of the dancefloor for the last half hour till someone woke me up and was like "yo man you ok, its over". That was a crazy nite and good times. :toothless |
