and they overperformed my expectations just relentless from the start to the end.
sorry we didnt hang out more the rolls were chill as and i honestly couldnt stand to be 'round the washers whilst rolling face.
looking forward to the next time we can come out because my god what a in trip this was, and it was only 36 hrs!!!!:crazy: :crazy: :crazy:

lol...understatement of the century.
Anyways I agree with most everyone else, the entire night was unbelievable...I loved Sasha's set but JZ blew it away, and the tag was just un-ing-real.
the only track i could id that wasn't mentioned was Feelin Electro, which just dominated on avalon's system.
Mad thanks to Clovis and Rich for the hospitality/rides...I had a great in time, and it was good to meet a bunch of LATAs (even tho I can't really remember most of your names for , lol)
the washing machines are bad, but otherwise Avalon is suuuuuch a nice club...I'm jealous and not looking forward to heading to ours this weekend :( |

Oh man, last night was great. I needed my Sasha fill and I got it. When we first got in I assumed that Avalon would have been somewhat empty and that they were just playing the line game. But holy , talk about packed, I couldn't even move around. Took about 10-15 mins to get from the lobby to my friends by the bar...then another 10 to get back to the lobby to grab Bunny :p. Anyway, Mark Tabberner opened with his usual round of garbage and after about 20 mins I couldn't take anymore, I had to hit the patio. Went up to the patio and unfortunately it wasn't too great up there either, speakers were kinda ed, way too crowded and the dj was playing overly funky house...just couldn't get into it at that moment. After a few mins Bunny notices that the patio is starting to clear, Sasha had just got on. I thought it was unfair...in the 15 mins it took to get up to the patio Mark ended and Sasha began!? Dah well, we hit the main room and Sasha was throwing down some hard stuff. A few of the tracks were way out there but I was sorta expecting that :p. He played that track "i'm allergic to myself" oooh man I loooove that track i'm so glad he played it.
Zabs jumps on and tore it up! Everytime I see him he gets better and better. From track selection to mixing to effects he always 1-ups himself. He played Underworld - JAL to Tokyo...ooohh man that was hot! Never heard it out before, i'm so glad Underworld is back with their dirty sound! Thanks James!
Then the tag team began, I don't remember much for obvious reasons...but , when Zabs dropped BT - Ride and Sasha did that little dance thing I couldn't stop laughing. Ooh ooh Chelonis R. Jones - Le Bateau Ivre, that was niiiice. Totally woke me up and I had to get back on the dance floor. Bunny and Clovis were like, "Do you think he's gonna play the vocals?" And I said, "what? vocals to waht?" hahaha man drugs are bad :haha:

WOW!!!!!! Sasha and Zabs were fookin amazing!!!! I've been pretty down about things the last couple of months but Sasha and Zabs literally brought back the positivity and happiness to my life!!!
Thanks to Clovis, Bas, Ivanbee and co for letting me and my bro cut in line! (Sorry to hear about your night Ivan.)
I thought Sasha's initial set was so-so but from the moment he dropped "Warning Siren" the night was un-in-believable!!!! Zabs then proceeded to tear it up, and when he and Sasha tagged I was on another planet!! One of the best moments of the night had to be when they dropped Sia - Numb (Paradise Soul Remix) and all the confetti was falling from the sky!! There was this one particular song that was in amazing but have no idea what it was. I guess I'll never know. Damn. The other stand out moment was at the very end when they dropped Imogen Heap - Hide and Seek (R3volves Remix). What a beautiful, beautiful song. This was definitely one of, if not the best, clubbing experiences I've ever had. Sasha & Zabs are legends!!!! |

dont post here much AT ALL, but i came down with lex400sc and had a ing blast! zabiela blew my mind AND my eardrums! unfortunately i went pretty much 48 hours without sleep(!!!) so i had a hard time hanging in there like i would have, my energy level dropped at around 5 so i went upstairs for a while, but i then forced myself to get back up front at 6:15 and i stick it out and it was well worth it.
thanks alot to clovis lettin me crash on the bed, and all the other TA's that i met, i dont remember your usernames, remind me! |
