WOW!!!! talk about making me bite my nails. we barely won today after a comfy 3-0 lead in the first...the score ends up 3-2. we lose to the swiss who tie the italians today. now i really hope these guys are saving their best for last but they do look like they are struggling. finland is kicking major ass and remember the last world cup of hockey? canada was dominated in the final by finland but managed to escape with a win in O.T. do they really have what it takes to beat the fins this year? im not sure about it....i really hope so but we really need to step it up!!!!!!!

Well Canada as a team played signifficantly better than the previous two games. The thing that almost made me sikk was McCabe taking stupid penalties one after the other which gave full momentum to the CZECH team. Honnestly I don't think they should let his ass play in the next game based on those careless and thoughtless plays.

| good call man... i would bench him too. when the ice is as big as it is penalties are a major concern. especially with the speed of some of the international teams |

| Canada is a wek team this time. So much talent in Canada for hockey and The Great One takes all the old timers. The whole thing about them being there before is crap. I hate to say it but I don't think Canada will medal....they are too slow on the defence....McCabe should never have been there....too big of a defensive liability....he has an upside on the power play but that is it. Canada needs someone to step up and take control of the team....too many leaders sitting back and waiting for someone to be a leader. I will cheer them on and I hope I'm wrong but it doesn't look good. |
