This sucks, thanx alot Mr. Quinn for choosing Bertuzzi over Crosby, smart move there big GUY!! No Spezza or Phaneuf, sad, completely sad... Congrats to Russia! Good Luck to the rest of the teams!

i must say the game was good. and even b4 the game started i knew Russia was going to take it. Canada has been playing like in this tournament...like seriously what the guys? this is not normal but hey everyone has a bad tournament so its ok. get them next time

oh btw....if they put crosby over bertuzzi it wouldnt help nothing. crosby is not as good as ppl think he is. sure he is young and has great skill but he needs to grow and mature in the game |

We're still the best. Can't win every time and we've been handing the world their asses the last 4 years (2002 gold medal, 3 straight WC's, the 2004 World Cup, two straight World Junior golds). The train isn't always basking in gravy.
Assuming Gretzky stays on as GM, he'll need to learn from this and choose a better and younger team next time. On a side note, on the few younger guys he did pick, Rick Nash, had a horrible tournament. |

Lucky wins against Finland and Czhehi in world cup 2004.
Barely won russia in world champs semi final in 2005 and lost to czhehi.
Then lost in quterfinal to Russia...Just now... Can't say i did not see it coming;) |

agreed, way to much hype on crosby, hes good, but he does not have the maturity to play as a team in this kind of setting, things woulda looked just as bad |
