Sven was a madman, live you would never know what to expect.I could only describe it as audio minding. He has left Trance but even today i find his sets are amazing and simply different than the cookie cutter formulaic mixing that every dj seems to be a fan of.
The problem with Trance is that it all follows the Ferry Formula these days and honestly its no fun to dance to music that has an extra long breakdown.Unless you have popped 65 hits of e dancing to this simply cannot be done. This formula and the total unoriginality of anything that has been released in the past 2 years have made me simply almost stop attending trance events as well as listening to it as much as i used to.
Oakie was good once upon a time but now is nothing more than a radio dj popping hit after hit and genre jumping during every single one of his live sets. The World is Mine is a song played by resident dj's, not supposed innovators. |

I don't think Oakenfold seem himself as an innovator anymore. He more then likely got burnt out on the idea of finding the newest tunes and playing in random cities everynight.
You'd be surprised who's played "The World Is Mine" - pretty much everyone from Tiesto to Morillo. David Guetta is a hot name with both DJs and the mainstream. |

Sammy's third album was much more mellower than his second, |
No offence, but i'm proud to say i've never even heard of either of them |

DJ Sammy just more Pop based music, stuff that the masses will listen to. All those 10 year old girls who are into Britney Spears and J-Lo are never going to pop in a PVD mix, needless to say many of them have never even heard PVD's name or do they know what Trance music is. A lot of people still think that all EDM music is "dance". It's kind of annoying. |
When i play PVD tracks and some nice uplifting trance you should see how the girls panties drop  Like they listening to music from heaven. How they then die to listen to PVD and Co. |

I found the allusion to heaven, women, PVD, and your avatar thouroughly ironic, and thus, a lol'lin' has commenced. |

Because THAT, if nothing else, proves that you have a lot of skill and should be recognized for your talent. |

hahaha gotta love these completeyly uneducated arguments. dj sammy is cheese whiz processed crap in a jar. he's so bad you can't even call him cheese, which can be a very refined product and turned into gourmet food :)
it's all good --- we dont need such clueless people crowding up crammed space on the dance floor when pvd's in town |
