Chemical records ripped me big time, all these VAT charges they add on after you've ordered, and sending me the wrong vinyls :(

ive never had a problem with juno b4, ive always got my records the next day at like 8.30 in the morning (which i have to get out of bed for!) in excellent condition and they charge very fair prices for the tunes and the shipping
2 big thumbs up for juno. never tried htfr, was considering it but now i'm not gonna bother, cheers peeps!

| everyone should just order from dancegrooves. right now i only order from them. very very fast delivery and the prices are great. massive selection of all types of vinyls too. |

the best vinyl shop online is CHEMICAL RECORDS http://www.chemical-records.co.uk , why ? because :
1-the prices comparing to the other shops are low (specially if u live OUTSIDE the UK , u don't pay taxes)
-the shipping cost for 1 vinyl is the lowest i have seen (2 pounds)
-the shipping is the FASTEST ever (not DHL or UPS , normal shipping) i ordered 4 vinyls separately and they all came after 7 to 10 days (depending on the day u ordered)
-whenever u contact them they quickly answer u in a polite and respectuous maner |
Hmm so u mean that if I order 1 vinyl, the shipping costs 2 pounds, and if I order, say 5 vinyls, the shipping cost 5 x 2 pounds = 10 pounds? Or do u mean that the shipping cost 2 pounds even if I order more than 1 vinyls? |

no its 2.00 for the first
2.20 for two vinyls and then you add 1.10 for each one
so if you order 5 it will cost you 5.50 for shipping |

| I'm pretty surprised that no one has posted www.gemm.com here! It's an awesome searchable database of about 12,000 record stores around the world that have their inventories listed. It's complete with cds, vinyl and merchant ratings! I've gotten a lot of my music that I can't find on cdnow or amazon from gemm.com. I'd highly suggest this site! |

another piece of hate mail against htfr. i ordered a pair of ortofon nightclubs from them a few months ago. after waiting a week without any word from them, i emailed them asking if they had had a chance to ship out the order...they responded 2 days later asking me to fax them a copy of my drivers license to them so they could bill my credit card properly. i questioned why they wanted to see my drivers license, pointing out that more than 90% of internet orders are processed via credit cards. they responded, again 2 days later, saying that they wanted to be sure that it was me and not somebody frauding my cc. so i cancelled the order and that was that...htfr is e.

Well i recieved my records from dotvinyl some time ago. All of them arrived in perfect condition......as it stands i give www.dotvinyl.com thumbs up.

Have to say, I've never ever considered buying vinyl from HTFR, but they have been good with equipment side of things for me! Got my entire set up from them and it came within a week. I also ordered a UDG bag from them but it was not in stock (they e-mailed me to tell me this), and they then e-mailed me 2 days later when it was back in stock to tell me it had been dispatched, it arrived the next day!
I have used both dotvinyl and chemical before and have had no problem with either, have to say chemical has a better variety of trance tunes and that their customer service is slightly better. And they were nice enough to link to my site from theirs, which brings in quite a lot of traffic! |

im thinking of ordering my setup from them HTFR coz they are offering some well cheap packages. After reading this thread im a little worried. Would u mind reassuring me that getting my equipment from here will all be ok. Can anyone else who has ordered equipment from them before tell me ur stories. What kinda guarantes come with there stuff?
