hmm if GG in Montreal is anything like GG in Miami (which was only one day) that would be cool. they brought in awesome djs i heard...
and its TWO days so maybe even better -- maybe they will have several tents...
Will *any* GG event outside of Birmingham (the original) be as GOOD as the original??!!! |

guys guys guys, don't have your expectations set too high... this is a first edition, a trial.
I honnestly don't believe there will be more than a couple of headliners...
The financial risks is too great. |

+1
lets not forget this event is not at all accessible by public transit, so the people organizing this are aware and will not break the bank in case that ticket sales are a total flop.As cool as Beach Club is, i think choosing a venue that is not easily accesible to many in the Montreal area was quite stupid. |

how whoever planned this overlooked the public transit factor is beyond me.I myself would have no problem attending , but there are many who wont be able to because of this.If you look at all the events being planned recently in Montreal there is one major problem.
Sloppy organizing by all promoters organizers.
It is giving the city's name a very bad look and we will lose credibility as an edm capital if this continues.
im still waiting to see what the major problem will be at Beb this year...
there is always a few major ones...you figure after 12 they would get it right. |

Yeah....I would've thought somewhere like Jean Drapeau would've been better! Though that would be a huge financial risk also, since it's a looooot of space, and it wouldn't look good without a lot of people. But if they bring in massive names, all of eastern Canada, and all of Northeastern USA would be very interested, and they could definately attract loads of people.
Beach Club is sketch...from what I've heard it's not very big, and it's gonna be sooo crammed. |
