The DJs that SHOULD play GG are the ones who exemplify Montreal...not the ones who use the city as simply a name and a "home".
GG should and will play local talent...not superfluous talent.
I meant no offense, but am rather "very passionate" about our True locals. |
that's more an opinion that i will respect....anyway everybody knows that the music scene in montreal is manage by max 5 big promoters...so lets see who's gonna take advantage of that and put his djs on the right spot!!! |

Ya we'll see about that.
Not like Godskitchen has spoiled us so far, LIKE OMG WOW LAWLER & COKENFOLD, way to go guys, one of them cuts his sets 2 hours short the other iPod mixes trance anthems.
Oh they brought Tiesto twice, but his chin is huge and he's 100% washed up...
Please guys, please no speculations about the lineups, dont wanna get my hopes up reading names and then see that gods booked like, Dark by Design or some cheese like that. |
Even if this year is not going to be the best (which it will certainly be amazing), I can reassure you, each year it will progress until it really is something to write home about and nobody can say anything.
People said Godskitchen would not get anyone for the Miami festival this year and look what happened. I wonder what next year look like.
Talk all you want about them, but, Montreal is a project that will take time and effort like everything else you do at life. Rome was not built in a day and neither is the best festival possible.
So even if the line up is not anything like the UK or Miami it will eventually get there, this I know for a fact!! |

ignore these noobs twoon.
no one expects all the top10 djs to be there, its would be a crazy risk especially with that questionnable location.
Anyhow, best wishes to GG and GK, hope this becomes a Montreal regular massive :) |

This a non-sens debate, cause a LOT of locals are worthy for playing at GG. a LOT! dj ugo brings nice suggestions that will most likely happen for GG.
BBCM will choose their DJs towards the Stereo/Unity circle, and everything Godsktichen will do will have a strong Circus influenced line-up, since they are working with 514, and they work there... Bal en Blanc has done some line-ups with aria locals, and we saw that change recently towards Red-lite choices.
Maybe, occasionnaly, a DJ will slip trough the politics and have a chance to play... and that's good. But the reality is that Marcus's choices are impossible. Expect DJs from Circus to be massively represented. |

My post wasnt intended to be "Godskitchen sucks" or "godskitchen wont come through", I just KNEW everyone would be SUPER excited about a global gatherin in Montreal, and they'd ALL be expecting the biggest names, and like Malek said, you cant just toss all the top10 names into one event, thus why I said at the end I wished people wouldnt speculate.
Speculation leads to rumours, and what a big waste of energy that is.
I don't expect a GG to be bad, I expect it to be KICKASS.
But I also dont expect them to book...
Tiesto
Armin
Ferry
Lawler
Oakenfold
Lawrence
ATB
Blank & Jones
Sasha & Digweed
Hernan Cattenaeo
Pete Tong
Carl Cox
Sven Vath
Paul Van Dyk
Desyn Masiello
Nic Fanciulli
Danny Howells
James Zabiela
James Holden
Preach
KrazyHouse
Richie Hawtin
Judge Jules
Marco V
Gabriel & Dresden
Benny Benassi
Markus Schulz
Sander Kleinenberg
Satoshi Tomiie
DJ Dan
Eddie Halliwell
Nick Warren
Danny Tenaglia
David Guetta
Morro Picotto
ALL IN ONE EVENT.
And to be honest, from a post I saw before I think that's what some of you are expecting.
I've suggested all the possible DJs Godskitchen will use, so now pleeeeeeeease no more speculation till Twoon comes on here and tells us the line-up him/herself !!!!!! :toothless |
