Well I am a Canadian citizen, it's just there are alot of complications in terms of me working. I live in rexdale for one and it's highly advised we don't walk around alone at night, which I would have to do if I work and what not. I can't work on campus because you have to live in Ontario for a year.
Plus I make 25 dollars an hour at my job back home doing something I really enjoy, why would I want to work for 9 dollars an hour here? |
my ex lives in rexdale. thats not the best place to be at nite. why would it have to be a night job though?
lol well you gotta start somewhere rite. bite ur tongue and hit the 9 bucks now, finish ur in skool and ur back up there again. when u come to north america for the first time u always gotta start at the bottom :(. sad but true, my dad was an engineer and my mom was a uni prof in india, when they came here education ment and now my moms a librarian and my dad was a factory worker |

I normally don't finish class until after dark so yeah....
Um I grew up in the US and I know what it's like to work a 5 dollar an hour job. I'd rather go home over the summer and work my ass off and save up for the school year so I can focus more on studies. How is that not ing me over when I lose 2 weeks of working because these two sides decide to act childish? |

Well if you're bored in class doing what you're doing, maybe you picked the wrong program to be in.
I do not pay to sit here, in my room, and do nothing. I don't par 3000$ a year to take walks, and go eat, and go and try to find something to do. . . . .
Stupidity @ it's finest |

Well why are you in a program that you wont need the info after? The point is to go there and gain the knowledge to put to work after you get your sole called piece of paper. That seems a little pointless to be there, not for knowledge, but just to be there for a piece of paper. Yes I udnerstand depending on the program, but you shouldnt be taking something that wont apply to you later on. |

| ok maybe i exagerated a little :P lol. most of the stuff we do in class is very basic stuff to get our heads rolling. iv talked to a lot of graduates in my program who have started workin who said that 75-80% of what you need in the workforce is learned on the job or in training. might not be for all programs. |
