Update: Academic bargaining information

The union representing faculty members, including counsellors and librarians, at Ontario's 24 colleges has issued notice that as of 12:01 a.m. on March 7 a strike could be called if a resolution is not achieved. Further bargaining is scheduled to happen on March 2.

im up @ casaloma
im in renovations
taking a computer course on scheduling (Microsoft Project) thurs and fri 8-4...
but on a positive note when this two day course is done, the subject is done for the term...seems like a fair trade i guess esp. since the course is usually on mondays @ 8 am |

| I go to Durham College, last I heard they expect to be out for about three weeks :( |

| i'm @ GB @ Casa Loma and it's very likely. keeping fingers crossed b/c if the strike is on we'll have our exam next Tues. postponed by at least 2 weeks. hehe! :tongue3 i guess you can just keep checking the news or call up your college. |

| Last I heard the strike was called off at around 6:00pm last wednesday. If things have changed since , I havent heard about it. |
