So they arent happy with a nearly 13% wage hike over 4 years eh?

And people wonder why I think unions should be abolished?

On average your profs would be making 8000-18000 more per year after ONLY 4 years!! Who else on the planet gets that kind of wage? AND IT'S STILL NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!?!?!?!?

So listen, next time tuition goes up don't blame the government. Thank your ever so greedy profs who are probably the same ones that critisize the government for not enough education spending. If they cared so much they would settle for the same workload with a raise equalling that of inflation. (most people arent even lucky enough to get that much!)

As of 12:01 a.m. Tuesday March 7, members of union representing faculty members, including counsellors and librarians, at Ontario's 24 colleges will be on strike. Full-time classes will be cancelled.

Seneca remains open. Evening and weekend classes will continue. Libraries, computing commons, bookstores, cafeterias and student services remain open.
Seneca facilities continue to be open to the public, including The Physio Solution, The Health Centre, The Fitness Centre, daycare, Eaton Hall, The Vision Clinic, recreation and sports programming.

Those coming to Seneca campuses may face delays. Information about picket lines has been posted.

if its the rez on hwy27, yeah youre right. that rez looks like a cellblock.
theres always woodbine center and woodbine slots...
and the ty manhattan strip just up the street...

i hope this strike lasts at least until the end of the week so i can go to hotel for fabian strong's birthday at hotel on thursday. :p

it's a cellblock alright...nothing works here

i refuse to step into a horse racing track....those horses aren't treated very nicely from what i hear :nervous:
