Not too sure. I'm not too caught up on the story myself, but to me, though showing a clearly important event with important people involved, the sequence seemed more to establish the state the world is in, and doesn't really involve any characters that I recognise or are from the pics posted previously.

i dunno bout you lot but FF7 was the best for me and yeah from there they were all still pretty wicked but nothing could match up with what it hgouth was the best

| Personally I wasn't too impressed with X, and X-2 was just . I'm really excited about this one. Since I quit playing Xenosaga Episode 2, this'll be the first RPG I'll pick up. |

SHIIIIIIIT
This is the worst news I've heard so far about FF12. I was willing to overlook the new 3rd person battle system...but not THIS.
Not only is the Final Fantasy battle system gone, but the WORLD MAP?
noooooooooooooooooo!
I can't imagine a FF game without the freedom to fly around the world, setting down in a random forrest to level up, swooping past towns and cities where the game began. That feeling of nostalgia, zooming past locales you walked around 40 hours earlier...That is what made the old games so FUN!
