| i learned the notes from RJ. using notes on the desk top is key. actually using your desktop is key. |

if you read it...
the above task can easily be simplified |
I like doing it though...I like my writing for one haha...and I just find I remember things easier when I write them down. Not to mention I add things all the time and can carry it with me. |

My desktop is littered with txt files of notes, statements, numbers, etc.
It even becomes more useful when you save the file with descriptor filenames.
Amazing little ditty the notepad is. |

well, i keep my extensive to-do list in this doc, and for times when i'm on the road most of the day, and not at work, then i'll write things on a post-it note.
my writing has gone to since my PC-use hit the fan in 98-99. but, to each their own :)
RJ - i'll screenshot my taskbar later. my start button has LOTS of company :thepirate |

| Notepad was my faithful friend for years until I was forced to use Dreamweaver. |

LOL! Don't worry, I do.
I used to delete the txts when I was done with them. I found the notes and "stream of consciousness" thoughts to be too valuable to delete, so now they are archived. I generally do not remove content from the files either (I just keep appending to the end, adding in date markers here and there).
I have a "txt" folder in MyDocs, with sub folders for each month. I clean off the desktop monthly (non-touched files are moved after 1 month into the txt/month folder off of MyDocs). |
