| haha yeah, I do it all the time. I have a file called clipboard.txt with just stuff i paste in it, really good acutally. |

notepad.
these days whenever i need to edit something, I edit it in gmail, and then either save as a draft, or then email to myself.
This way my text becomes searchable, and it's guaranteed to stay around, even if my computer crashes, and I can access the data from anywhere. |

A desktop full of text files is searchable (Windows Search, Google Desktop, MS Desktop). |

also outlook calendar is great for notes. actually even outlooks has notes but i don't use those. |

| I have a post it not program on my computer that I use as a notepad for little things here and there.. I die with out it.. for those quick reminders or things you don’t feel like making a doc out of it.. just stupid useless .. ya I love my quick note. |

^^ That's how easy I make it for me to use Notepad! I use it ALL THE TIME.
An incredibly useful application that I have millions of uses for, many of which you listed and highlighted!
