yahoo notepad!
if you login to your yahoo email, there's a section near the top tabs called 'notepad'
i use this to save set tracklists, passwords etc.. and it's always archived and you can access it anywhere |

Forgot to mention the program "Rainlendar". Great calendar and notes application.

btw the transparency of the program windows is customizable and the brown background in the pic is the desktop of the person who took the screen cap. |

Any way I can get this to sync w/ my exchange server? I don't store my calendar locally. |

I'm a fan of the Calendar widget for the Yahoo! widgets application.
It syncs with Outlook (or another calendar prog you can chose i believe) and on your desktop will display in the widget your calendar items or to do list... you can customize and set the formatt you want to have displayed.
Its very impressive.
The Yahoo! widgets are greatly superior to the Google Desktop Search widgets.

Widgets are another great organization tool. Ive used both a Yahoo! and GDS Note widget to collect and keep track of thoughts and various misc things/info such as yall keep contained in these stuff.txt files ;)
They can be a GREAT addition to your PC experience!

Wow, so am I the only one who doesn't swear his life by the notepad? I mean I use it a lot, but not nearly as obsessively as some of you it seems.
Rainlendar is all I need, although before recently, I didn't even use that. |

but if anyone wants any of the above excel deals - the shopping list is p.i.m.p., and the checkbook register is pretty easy with some basic formulas, and it knows whether to add or subtract from the balance based on whether you use DEP or CR in the TYPE column, via an IF statement. |
