some of the funniest pics last night....some cant be posted :stongue:
i couldnt really stay long for icey cos everytime i chilled for a bit in the begining, someone or the other bumped into me and then i had to take them to the KH and show them were someone else was...by the time i came back with the whole loop thing, 1/2 hour was done...meh...
hyper was on the ball...otherwise, it was just another party...i had fun only cos of the people i hung out with all night |

Pretty solid night night. Got to the KH nice and early to partake in some of that "early kool haus vibe" that i love so much. then headed over to guv for burridge and sander.
i swear last night was like bizzaro party, the guv was surprisingly roomy with blasts of nice cold air being shot intio the crowd. on the other hand when i left guvy to hit the KH for armin, it was hot, packed, pushy, and full of gino's.
as for the tunes, MO was playing a really pumping warm up set, good times. Burridge was solid and Sander K was setting the place off with hours of those wicked prog house baselines. i thought armin ripped it. playing like only armin knows how. i dunno how he mixes his so well when he spends half his time signing t-shirts and holding his headphones in the air.
highlite for me was probably partying it up during sander with the small crew of TAs after watching the majority of his set by my lonesome. oh and the KH. love anytime in the KH. |

Awesome party....brought a friend for his first time and he loved it.
not seeing sander was the only down side for me.
gabriel was good
oakie blew me away (i was expecting different from him)
buuren was awesome.
met a few TA's. hello again.
left at about 7:30 got home at 8.

oh and one more highlite..watching nada having danceoffs with various ppl throughout the night. and the interaction you have with other dancers. holy can you move!
seeing little things like that just increases thevibe that much more and reminds me why i loved partying so much in the first place |

Sander K was everything that every single person in guv needed, he was awesome, hard, chunky, big beat sound. Dunno about the crowd interaction, other the moment where he bowed to a fan in the front. He keep a pretty normal face the entire time, but his music was just ing unreal.....he was hitting it hard, nice touch with the video matching the tracks that he was playing.
Went into Paul O, and it soundded exactly as I expected, big room trance, wasn't doing it for me.
Back to Sander just pounding....awesome. |
