Aliens, Crop Circles, Vampires and UFOs

I was watching the news today and out of nowhere came this story about a crop circle in the United States. Its been years since this kind of stuff was covered by the media. Do you guys believe in this kind of stuff?

Aliens
Abductions
Government Coverups
Crop Circles
UFOs
Roswell
Alien Technology - Miltary Exhchange

I believe in a lot of it as I don't think it's fair to say we live in all this space to be alone and be the supreme minds. They visiting us isn't too far-fetched; although, humans being an experiment and only being able to survive experimentation by allowing abductions for research is. I enjoy some of the theories, especially relating to art and biblical times, but there are still crazy people in the scene.

I think there's life out there in space.
I mean... in our solar system there's nine planets, and why's there only life on Tellus? There's surely water and fossils or whatever on some of our neighbour-planets.
Then there's always other solar systems!

Wishful thinking, I'd say.

It seems that our planet was an anomaly or a very, VERY rare occurence of all the right conditions at the right time. The chances of another planet with anything close to life is extremely slim, based on the knowledge we have about our current universe.

I'm not very well read on that part, so please enlighten me. What do we know about universe so far?

Can't help you there. You can read up on it on SciScoop or in more recently published articles/books.

Oh okay. I'll check that and some cool, reliable sources like Wikipedia. Later though...

Space truly is fascinating!

If this was the case then what is the point in the universe? It can't just be clumps of minerals floating arounding in space, it must have a purpose.
Strange thing the universe, without it there is nothing.

That's one of the questions that man has pondered over for a long time.

I personally don't think there is a point. Humans try to find a reason for everything. Truth is there isn't one 100% of the time. Even if there was a point of the universe humans couldn't understand it.

Probability wise, just because the universe is so vast, there has to be other planets with life forms. Those life forms needn't be exactly like on earth they could have adapted/evolved differently depending on their environment but the conditions that give rise to life in early earth surely were available in other places in the universe. Im more inclined to believe that there is life elsewhere in the universe than that there is not
